Course Curriculum Overview
The course was pretty relevant with my end goal which is being a Charted Accountant and the course helped me prepare for the Charted Accountant exams. Teaching methods could you improved as few of the teachers get their information from chatgpt which was also wrong. The course semester has been shorten with respect to the syllabus students have to study.
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year had to pay 91000 Rs and in second year had to pay 97,500 and in the final year i had to pay 99,000. There was a 500 admission fees and scholarships were available based on attendance and marks scored in 1st year, 2nd year with 50% to 5%
Campus Life
Jashn e Mary's is one of the annual event held by college and Euphoria is one of the annual event held by commerce department which is usually held in October and January respectively. Libraries include a wide range of novels with most genre available. There is no technological provisions within the classroom There are few sports events held every 1-2 months
Admission
I applied to this college as it had the extra course known as Charted Accountant along with the regular B.Com course. The addmission process was simple with jus a normal interview. I did not get rejected from other colleges
Faculty
1:20 some faculty members are approachable but not all faculty members. Dayanand Babu is the best faculty present in the college who quickly connects with students and gives concentration and time to students and makes sure every student understand each concept thoroughly Rupini ma'am as she is not approachable and students have lost internship, placement opportunities due to her lack of responsibility There are usually 2 exams both being internals. The course is pretty relevant to the course curriculum
Night Life
There is no late-night activities in the college campus and it is very quite around the campus during late night hours. Students usually play sports indoors nd outdoors after college till a certain time. The cafeterias are usually closed apart from break and libraries are usually full due to people who couldn't enter class during the time alloted
Other Applied Colleges
St Joseph's Degree and PG College | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com]
St Mary's offered me better conditions to study
