Remarks

The college and faculty are fine mostly. I personally do not like the way non-mbbs students are treated. I also do not find the administration of the college very reasonable. Classes and practicals are regular but if you are not MBBS you have to find your way around everything by yourself mostly.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I personally think that curriculum of my course is pretty good. We are given the basic knowledge that is required. The curriculum of my course includes anatomy physiology biochemistry statistics computer science and psychology.

Internships Opportunities

I have no idea about that. I'm still doing my bachelor's. But others that are persuing post graduate courses and MBBS do have an opportunity to do the internship from the college itself. As I said before I do not know the details.

Placement Experience

3

Geetanjali medical College and hospital has both a College and a hospital which means that there are pretty good chances for you to get a job here. Although I do know have any idea about whether placements are provided or not.

College Events

3

The college hosts a yearly fest. The fresher batch usually organises this even. There are various programs spread in the span of about a week in the fest. Like dance. Poetry. Treasure hunt. Singing etc. There are also sports events conducted once a year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I personally think the fee structure is a little expensive. But then again this is a private university and everyone knows how the money flows in a private university. Needless to say. It's feasible and expensive at the same time.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no personal entrance examination held by the college. The admission is based on 10+2 marks or NEET score. I do not exactly know about any loan or scholarship facility. You can call the college and ask for information.

Campus Life

4.5

Once an year there is annual fest conducted by college. It is spread around a week or so with many events happening everyday. Like Heena competition. Dance. Skits. Etc. There are also sports events conducted. The hostelites usually use the ground to play various sports

Hostel Facilities

3

I do not stay in the hostel. But many of my batchmates do. The rooms are big and spacious. Three people share on room. Cupboard table chair and a bed with mattress and pillow are provided. There are not AC's or coolers provided. Neither is there any heating system which makes it kind of hard to live.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful in finding your way around the college. They are helpful when you ask them for help. They will obviously show their seniority but not in an obcense way. As for the alumni network I have no idea. The course I'm persuing is fairly new to the college.

Exam Structure

The exams in college are conducted at three levels. The internal exams and the main exams and then the practicals. There is usually a gap on about 2weeks - 1 month in between internal and main examinations.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of my 10+2 marks. I went to the academic section of the college and filled forms. Submitted required documents such as marksheets transfer and character certificates. Then waited for about a week for verification and after confirmation I deposited the fee. And admission done.

Faculty

4

The faculty in GMCH is very good. The very first lecture can tell you that you are in the hands of experienced intelligent people. Most of them are friendly and kind. They are easily approachable for study related matters.
