Course Curriculum Overview
The college rank 2nd in gujarat after BJ medical College and is most prestigious college in gujarat. The teachers here are best and the course curriculum is also very good for becoming a great doctor..
Internships Opportunities
The intership is compulsory for every student as it is government medical College. The duration of internship is 1 year after MBBS and the government pays 22000 per month for the work. The internship is done by all the students.
Fees and Financial Aid
25000 tution fees and around 4000 university fees and around 2000 exam fees. And other expenses for books and clothes around 15000 per year. Other Daily expenses for lunch and dinner around 150-200. Scholarships like Digital gujarat, FFE, VIVO,etc are obtained by the students.
Campus Life
The event and fest like BURNOUT and VIBRANT takes place respectively in our college every year in month of February and March. Every book and journals are available in library with every facilities and air conditioned. Every sports activities are present and every one can participate in it.many social groups are also present.
Hostel Facilities
The boy's hostel for 1st year students is 2km far from the college. The hostel name is Dr jivraj mehta hall and fees are 7000 per year for 1st year and later 1200 per year. The mess food is average. The registration is done for the hostel at the time of admission process.
Admission
I applied for bj medical College but due to some marks I didn't get admission in that college. Neet is required to get admission in medical College for mbbs and I worked hard for constant 2 years with determination to get admission in this prestigious college.
Faculty
There are many faculties for every department and ratio is good. Dr viren kariya is professor in anatomy and have great experience. Every faculty here are best. 2 internal exam and one prelims before university exam are there and difficulty is moderate.
Night Life
MSU gym is available for girls and boys for 1200 per year. Library is present at college and hostels. The college timings is 9 am to 5 pm with lunch break of 1hr from 1 to 2 pm. Famous hangout places are raopura, Laxmi Vilas palace, many street food shops, etc.the locality is safe for every one to roam at night.
