It's a 2 years course with trimester system i.e. 3 trimesters per year. There are 6 core subjects in first, second and third trimesters carrying 3 credits per subject and 1 non core subject per trimester, at the end of every trimester there is a viva carrying 1 credit. In second year of MBA you have to choose your major and minor specializations such as marketing, finance, human resource, operations. After 1st year of MBA students has to go through minimum of 8 weeks summer internship. In third trimester students has to do a social project as well.

Yes, college provide internship for all the students who full fill placement criteria and the stipend depends on the companies which are are visiting. There are both paid and un-paid internships, it depends on the student's performance if someone looking for good paid internships then he or she has to perform well in interview process that's it. Companies such as Asian paints, Jaro, Nestle, HDFC, Karvy and many more visit for internships.

Yes, all the eligible Gitam MBA students batch 2017-18 had achieved almost 100% placements and highest package was 12.1 lakhs per annum by Amazon. And now 80% of our seniors i.e. 2018-19 batch has already been placed and companies are still visiting for the rest 20% students. Till now the average package for our seniors is 5.52 lakhs per annum and highest package is 9 lakhs per annum offered by Walmart.

The total academic fee for 2 years MBA is 7.2 lakhs which can be paid in installments of 4-5. You have to pay a sum of 60000 rupees at the time of admission and 1 lakh during the commencement of course, next installment is of 160000 which has to be paid within 1st year and the rest amount has to be paid in 2nd year

Gitam institute of management has 2 computer labs, one HSBC Business communications lab, one conference hall, 2 seminar halls, one open auditorium, one institute library and one university library, one cricket gound, indoor statium, tennis court, basketball court, and many more. University as lot of auditorium and facilities which can be availed whenever needed. Gitam institute of management has good facilities.

The hostel is below average and the food is not up to the mark. The services provided by the hostel is less than what they are charging for so i recommend to join a PG outside the college or take a room.

The institute maintain the good alumni network and there are time to time alumni meets conducted to maintain good relations. Placement cell has all the information of the institute's alumni. Senior students are very helpful and are always there for any kind of help and suggestions. The fests organised by students and different student clubs plays an important role in building a strong bond between seniors and juniors

It's a trimester based exam system in which final paper is i.e. trimester end exam is of 60 marks and the rest 40 marks comes under internals. In Internals 15 marks is for mid examination, 10 marks is for online quizzes and rest 15 marks is for assignments, classroom activity and etc. Student has to pass both internals, trimester end exams and viva in order to clear the trimester.
