Remarks

Negative remarks would be to modify the building of the college for the betterment and positive would be to continue to follow the same routine of development to keep the rate and grade stable. The college needs. Development in the infrastructure as it is very old and is not been taken care of for years.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum of the course is quite ok. It is quite tough at the beginning but then it gets simpler later in between. The course for English in this college includes both literature and linguistics, making the students gain both sides of the knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

For now,I have no idea about internship cause I myself am a new fresh student that recently sought my admission out here in the college the previous year but then I do hope to be a part of the internship if there is availability of it.

Placement Experience

2.5

Job opportunities in Pune apart from the college is quite open and available. Here people go to the city to get their jobs as the availability is very high. The is employment and only employment such that even the oldies still work and earn for their living.

College Events

4.5

Our college celebrates a lot.there are many occasions,we have departmental saree day, departmental fresher's day , foundation day, departmental events, seminar, farewells, republic, Christmas,NCC events and lots.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's feasible. Since it is governmental, the fee structure is quite feasible and it is even manageable for the middle class people and families. Apart from that, even the exam fee structure is at the cheapest rate.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college on regard to scholarship provides college scholarship to students with good ranks and grades. The college even includes a separate scholarship office staff to look after the procedure and provides the necessity information at the earliest.

Campus Life

2

There is science labs , geographic labs and computer lab as well, with two huge ground , a gymnasium for keeping a fit health. The college dsnt include academic activities as to that of the schools but then it provides the necessity items needed as it also includes a volleyball court and a basketball court separately.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel infrastructure is very old and cracked. But then there are people who try to maintain the infrastructure. Where as on talking about the facilities, the hostel provides flexible facilities like it provides free cooking system with individual mess.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors are very helpful. They have helped us through out our first admission process such that it made things easier for us to complete at the earliest. They even continued to guide us even in our individual studies.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is quite good and easy and helpful as it includes two internal tests and one University exam out of which there is indulgment of the assignments and presentation too. There again it has class test and class work too which enable us to develop in detail.

Admission

Yes. I got the admission through merit basis. Since I secured first grade in my graduate course,I was easily available and attainable for the post graduate courses. The admission process is long but then it was worth taking the struggles.

Faculty

4

The faculty staffs are very humble and good. They are quite soft spoken and treats the students with dignity whereas there are other staffs that even go to the extend to lend their hands for a guidance.

Placement Experience:

The students join in large numbers in this college because of better placements only. They are aware of the same before admission. There is a placement cell called CGPC on the campus which consists of students from the final year. They take care of the students' placement needs. There are many companies like BAIF, Pradan, Kudumbshree, Rajivika, Bihar SRLM, MP SRLS, ORMAS, OLM, Antra, APF, etc. 100% of students get placed from all the courses. Some students of SIE go for establishing their own business enterprise and they do not sit for placements, some want to go for higher studies. Those who wish to get a job all get a job.

Remarks:

Symbiosis School of International Studies, in short, was the biggest mistake of my life. It's not worth spending 5 lakhs. I've heard that they increase the fees by 10% every year. Apart from the hostel which is managed by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University, nothing provided by the college is worth the money. The health centre is even worse. They don't check the patients on time. The medicines prescribed are either too strong or ineffective.
