Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose Electrical Engineering as I was told that this branch is as evergreen branch, the others being Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering. To be frank, I had no particular interest in Electrical Engineering but I did like the related subjects like Electrostatics taught as a part of Physics in school. You will not believe me when I say that during my IIT counselling I filled Electrical before Mechanical engineering and somewhere I remember I filled Mechanical before Electrical. So, now you know between EE/ME it could be anything. I wanted to be in the government and taking CSE wouldn't have helped me. So, somehow I ended up in Electrical Engineering. For every 6sem there were exams those frequency is ok compare to my core bramch

Internships Opportunities

1

Upto our batch only campus placed or job offer got students has eligible for internship and remaining students has to attend to college and write 2 subjects in that sem internship candidates are exempted from academics in 8th sem After our batch college make internship is mandatory for all the 8th sem students OBJECT RECOGNISATION USING PYTHON Object recognisation from the given input and label the object with the help of the pre-installed library yolo files and label them with the names using python language Identifies only pre installed objects it will not identify un-defined objects. AUTOMATIC PLANT WATERING SYSTEM USING NODEMCU Automatically watering the plants based on the moisture level of the field by monitoring the ground moisture level and then control the water pump valve close and open using node mcu. Our system with its remote application ensures that the user's plants are regularly watered o n a day-today basis. This will ensure that plant life is not compromised due to negligence. 3D PRINTING IN PROSTHETICS This major project highlight on the topic of 3D printing and its impact on various industries. 3D printing technology has revolutionized the way products are manufactured and has opened up new avenues for innovation. These are my three projects and their objectives

Placement Experience

2

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placements only if the student is members of ITCA formed by college other students are not eligible for campus placements TCS, CTS, Accenture, Mindtree, Medha servo And few more I don't all companies who visited for college as I am not a member of ITCA we are not eligible for campus placements 7.5lpa is highest package by TCS as of i know I am preparing for government job

Admission

I applied for Sree Venkateshwara Engineering College in Chittor and G Pullaiah Engineering College in Kurnool and RGM Engineering College in Nandyal along with G Pulla Reddy Engineering College in Kurnool I got confirmation in SVEC chittoor and GPREC kurnool As GPREC has good name and big college as per my elders guides I choose GPREC I didn't get any rejection from other colleges as my eamcet rank is 25828 I got seat in GPREC electrical department in second councelling before that in first councelling I didn't know which clg to opt so I prefer SVEC chittoor later in 2nd councelling I choose GPREC kurnool EAMCET is common entrance exam for our college admission cutoff varies every year so It can't be same compared to previous year Computer science engineering is most preferable in our college

Faculty

4

*The faculty to student ratio is 1:5. Faculty to student relationship is too good but not for a very few lecturers *Sateesh sir is favourite faculty as he engages with students friendly and helps the student academic and professional career also *I don't have any faculty in my not liking list *Every sem has 6 subjects upto 6th semester and in 7th sem 5 subjects , in 8th sem only 2 subjects overall 43 subjects and 20 labs among all those subjects I feel engineering machines and iss and electrical circuits are difficult for me upto 10-20% students fail in those subjects but those subjects are core for my branch

Night Life

5

Gym and indoor stadium and a large ground in the college only for students and faculty outers are not allowed Vere big library with free internet and system are available And some park area also there I am a daily scholar so I didn't know about hostel but college timings is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm in between these timings lecture hours for students varies from there years juniors and seniors lectures times should not be clash Two cafeteria are there in our college campus and one sodahub is also there near to our college 3 cafes and one resturant outside the college And famous jagannath gaatu near to our college which is fav spot for so many kurnolions

Course Curriculum Overview:

The best and for some it could be worst part also , it doesn't matter whether you're a mechanical engineering student or EEE or CSE you should have to learn every single programming language from C to python including DSA and cloud computing which will help you to switch your career easily if you want. but however at the same time the mechanical students feel stressed alot. because they have to study their own field subjects which are not easy at the same time they have to clear the programming languages which are completely different from mechanical subjects

Placement Experience:

If I talk about my branch, as per my knowledge from 6th semester onwards the students can sit in the placement run. The college offers placement training with individual of expertise from that respective subject. Many top companies visit the campus to list out, AWS, INFOSYS, JMAN, TCS, IBM are some if them. More than 50 lakhs package is secured. The average lies around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch and for some branches it's 100%, the average package for them would be 3 lakhs per annum, and the highest goes around 12 lakhs per annum. Students can apply off campus if they didn't get placed.

From 6 th semester onwards students are eligible to get placements before that some trainers will come from outside and they will teach for placement training Around 70–80% of students secure placements, depending on the branch and year. Placement support is decent, with growing opportunities through campus drives and internships.
