My own experience

The main aspect of choosing B.Ed course was i want to become teacher and my passion is teaching. So it is mandatory to do B.Ed if you want to become a government teacher. The curriculum of B.Ed course connects me from reals world like now i understand peoples situations very well and also try to solve their problems. Now i am able to communicate with students also and whatever i studied in pedagogy now i able to apply those concepts in each and every child according to their abilities and situations. The main areas where needs improvements is teaching methods and placement. Because after doing B.Ed their is no surity that you will get job and the teaching methods are not updated. Like our country is moving towards technologies so our youth and future generations should be aware of changes and make them capable to understand technology. The time duration for exam is 2 hours but according to me it is less as compare to length and difficulty level of examination. So it should be 3 hours and 3 hours is sufficient to complete full paper according to me.

Internship opportunities are offered to B.Ed students and 4 months internship is mandatory for all students you have to do it. No stipend is paid for this internship but trust me you will learn a lot . And these internship days are goldens days for me. For another department i dont know so much, but i have heard various types of companies came , take interviews and offer you job opportunities. You just have to complete their tasks and projects they will give you bonus also.

Students become eligible for placement from 3rd semester when you will go to 4 months internship. No stipend paid for internship but you can learn a lot from there. But trust me these 4 month are the golden days of B.Ed I have not attend any placement classes but i got offer from my school where i am doing 4 months internship that if you want to continue teaching you can join them as a teacher after 4 month completion. Average package in private teaching schools is 1,20,000p.a. and highest package is 3,00,000p.a. Salary totally depends on your teaching skills and methods and how well equipped with knowledge in your subjects and your communication skills and confidence level to seek attention and engage students. Approx 50% students got placement. After getting B.Ed degree i will prepare for government teaching exams and in side, i will continue as a private teacher to bear my expenses and continue my studies.

The yearly fees of B.Ed course is 9,000 aprrox and the overall fees of complete course is 20,000 approx. Other charges like for education kit, you have to pay 2,000 per semester. There are four semester so total fee for kit will be 8,000. 1500 examination fees per semester. Fee structure is same for all students whether you belong from any category. Scholarship facility is also available i.e. UP Scholarship. You can fill form and attach all documents properly with fee receipts and avail the benefits of Scholarship. The amount of fees get refunded by government.

In every month festivals, jayantis are celebrated. Students enjoyed a lot. Rituals happens, seminars, webinars, cultural fest occurs. The librabry consists every type of books with updated versions. But ancient books are also available. You cam refer these books to increase your knowledge, aware with our history and cultures. Daily newspapers with hindi , english, vernacular languages are also available. Journals, magazines are also available. Competitive books are also available and if you want any special book you can suggest it,they can avail it if possible. Digital classrooms with technology, wifi serivice are also available. Sports like volleyball, football, table tennis ,cricket ground facilities are available. Extra curricular activites gives you a good exposure. NCC and NSS are also available. You can join them also. I have no idea whether the students run any social groups,clubs or not.

In room one bed, one gadda, one study table, one chair, one almirah, one small almirah and wall almirah is available. You will get extra if you want. Fan and lighting facility is available. You just go with your luggage . Meal quality is not good if i will say honestly . They will give you variations but not qualitative. Menu is fixed for whole week . In morning, you will get tea with snacks like pakodi, macroni, poori achar, poha, daliya, samosa, bread pakoda, sandwich etc. In afternoon, daal with sabji roti chawal with salad. In evening, tea. In night, roti sabji chawal with salad. The registration process of hostel is to submut college Identity card with aadhar card and pay Rs.5000 for hostel and Rs.1000 for registration . Price is affordable according to me.

When i crack B.Ed entrance exam i selected 109 (Government and aided) colleges in overall Uttarpradesh . But my first priority was to get college near my home and i got this college after allotment. The main reason behind choosing this college was it is affordable and it is situated near my hometown so i cam easily live their. No, i don't get any rejection from other colleges . The minimum eligibility is you have to completely your graduation and then you have to give B.Ed entrance test conducted on state level. Then you have to crack cutoff marks then you are eligible for counselling. After counselling procedures you have to select colleges according to you convenience and then authority will allot you college according to your marks and cutoff of colleges. Then you will get college based on you choice . If you want to do B.Ed from Government college you have to get good marks o. ENTRANCE exam otherwise you can do private also. I am doing Government B.Ed.

There is 1 faculty for 10students . The teachers are very friendly, supportive. You can share problems with them . They will guide you as a mother. Personally i like Uma mam, Dr.Manishi Pandey Mam and Dr. Nishu Tiwari mam. All faculties are good but these three are my favorites. I like them because they call me from my name. They knew my name so like it that i have also a separate identity. They knew me from my work and they always praise me ,guides me ,motivates me , their teaching method is different in comparison to others. The faculty that i don't like is Head of the department. I will not take her name but personally i don't like her because in front of yor face she will act so nicer but in back she will always do whatever she like. She doesn't care others. Like B.Ed is divided into 4 semester so at the end of each semester, final exams are conducted but before final exams mid semester exams also conducted to evaluate your self and work on your problems and prepare for final exams. The paper level is moderate and if we calculate how many students get failed so it will be approx 2 or 3 maximum in 100 students. And these students failed because of their own carelessness. The course curriculum is according and followed the norms of NEP 2020.

There is no gym inside the college. Opening time of College canteen and library is 10am and closing time is 4pm. Hostel facility is also available ,if you want to live there you have to submit a photocopy of your college Identity card and aadhar card photocopy and just pay 6,000 per month including food charges and electricity charges. Opening time of hostel gate is 5am and closing time is 11pm but if you want to go early or come late you just have to notify guard uncle and write a message with reason to warden mam and then they will allow you to go early or come late. The famous place or the place that i like most for hangout is college canteen and vatika ground . These are inside the college. Outside college there are many places like Anandeshwar temple for worship, Z square mall, Nana rao park , ganesh uddyan etc. And the locality is also safe.
