What Students Say

Likes

The green campus which is a buffer zone has beautiful scenic near marudhamalai foothill
Staffs who encourages your work and who supports the fullest
Incoporation of smart boards in class rooms and free wifi within the campus

Dislikes

Course structure which are too specific to a staff core
Lab facilities are minimum for an msc students
There will be no paper distribution after the internal test which doubts our marks

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is well relevant to the subject. 75 percentage of the syllabus is based on ugc net which helps students the crack the exams while studying itself. Sometimes it feels like the subject to concentrated the staffs core

Class Size: 25Course Fees: INR 10000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

State and National Scholarship are available for those who have annual income of 2 lakhs. Free education Scholarship is available for a M.sc student who have certain financial instability. Who ever gets the 1st rank in completion of msc programme who get a unversity fellowship.

Campus Life

There are less club actovities and culural proogramme than you expect. There will be yearly celebration for pongal and onam festival in each department separately which is a small. Rather than farewell and freshers also be conducted within campus.

Hostel Facilities

If room is big it will 6 sharing if small it will 3 sharing. There will be daily cleaning of toilet and bathroom and there is seperate space for washing clothes. The mess bill will be high even for vegetarian food in some hostels

Hostel Fee: INR 50000 per year

Admission

I chose college for a new lifestyle exposure which was fulfilled here. The cutoffs are reasonable here for a course. The beautiful green campus attracted me over other colleges and more the course was well designed

Faculty

The professors here are highly eligible and has greater knowledge of their subject. There are 2 internals and 1 model examination and 2 assignment and 1 seminars. In certain papers a single paper will be hamdled by 2 staffs it's kinda difficult to coordinate

Night Life

If your girl joining this university expecting night life it will be disappointing for you cause hostels in and around the campus closes at 7 pm itself and for boys it uptill 10pm they enjoy their night and cimeback

The choosed this course as I have complete background of bachelor degree in Nutrition and was interested in doing community nutrition service where master degree would enrich me with the background knowledge to empower peoples with Nutrition knowledge.The faculty staffs have done their doctrate in food science and nutrition and are enriched with best modern teaching methods which guided and motivate to learn a lot about the field .The term exams where conducted as 2 internal exams each semester and 1 external exam .The course is for 2years so there are 4 external exams and 8 internal exams .The different lab enriched with current updated equipment help to learn more practically ,the lab setup included foods lab ,food testing lab , nutrition lab and physiology lab .The exams are easy to pass if you are 70 percent consistent on practical and theory papers .

My Honest Opinion

Placement Experience:

Last semester students can participate in the Campus placement.And also 2nd year students can also participate. Many companies will come for the placement camp.Like Infosys, Wipro and many other IT companies and also Fianance companies are offered for BBA students. Highest Salary Package is about 4LPA and average is about 1.2LPA. Minimum 60% of students gets placement. My plans to get a job in an IT company within this year.

Very much satisfied with the infrastructure, and we enjoy all things in our college life. Placements: Our course is information technology. Our class has 45 students. HCL, Omega, etc., come here. Overall, 35 students got internships in our course on QSpiders. They are offered a job as well. Infrastructure: Our department is located in a good place in our college. We like our department staff very much. They are very kind and good. Our favorite place is our lab. They have a good atmosphere. The classrooms are very neat. Faculty: Our teachers are kind and good at heart. We are very proud of our department staff and HOD. Their teaching is very good. The curriculum is relevant. The university i choose because of the nirf ranking of the university. This university have the good campus life also and in google search they show this university thatswhy also i choosed this one .
