Likes
- Things I liked the most was teaching staff. Every teacher in my college has experience of 20 years. They guide us in every aspects and helps us in project works. They helps us to work on review articles. Motivates us.
- Cultural activities and sports fests. Every year, my college conducts cultural programmes like sankrathi sambaralu, annual day fest etc. we invite different colleges to participate in sports fest. We can enjoy alot.
- Seminars and alumini meetings. From these we can learn what the things are happening in the pharma field. We can learn new things from the alumini and we can update ourselves.
Dislikes
- Fines, I don't like this at all. Even if we are one minute late we have to pay the fine.
- We don't have canteen. I don't like this also.
- In my college, we face lot of partiality from the taechers
Course Curriculum Overview
Research side and health care management to the society makes me to choose this course. The curriculum helps us to learn about medications,drug discovery, therapy of the diseases and regulatory affairs. At the end of the curriculum we can learn ther role of pharmacist in the development of health system of the country.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee structure is 63500 and we got scholarship from the state government the total fee in 4 terms. The lab fee is varying according to year wise. Lab fee also very less(300). Our college doesn't charge any kind of fees from the students like development fees, admission fees etc.Mangament fee would be vary year wise.
Campus Life
Now I am in 4th year. I really enjoy my college days alot. Because we have so many cultural activities and sports fest. My college encourages the students alot in this kind of activities. Principal madam (A.sunitha) provides lots of activities in my college. We have Ncc committee also, we organize so many blood donation camps in somany rural areas. My college adopt one rural village also. Our fines goes to that rural village fo their development. So many students went to tournaments.
Hostel Facilities
Siddhartha academy provides hostels to both girls and boys. The meal quality was good and nice. The hostel provides good facilities to us. We can directly go to the hostel and pay DD to the canara bank for the registration to the hostel. The hostel fee also reasonable. 5 members for one room. My hostel have good environment to get peaceful mind.
Admission
My college kvsr Siddhartha college of pharmaceutical sciences have huge reputation among all the colleges situated in the state. It is the first pharmacy college in the andhra pradesh. Through the apcet exam we can eligible to get admission to this college. for B.ph students should get rank below 13k and for pharm.d students should get rank below 10k.This is the criteria to get admission in my college
Faculty
The student and faculty relationship was good. We can approach them any time in college. They give huge guidance to the students. I like Dr. Karuna sree mam, she deals with pharmacognosy. Mam has indepth knowledge about the subject. She guides me to do review article and in project work too. In my college we can see some sort of partiality from some taechers. We have 2 internal exams and labs and one external exam and lab exam per one semester.we totally have 8 semesters.
Night Life
My college is very small. We don't have any hanging out places to enjoy. We students are very eager to go out from the college because we don't have cafeteria also. Only sports people are only there in the college after college timings for their practice only.
