Remarks

Positive things are: They train us well in getting placements in any company. The staffs are very much helpful and most of them are student friendly. Also there is no need to worry about food and transportation as they provide lunch and breakfast to all students and staff. They also lend books from the book bank for a semster period and library for a month. Negative things are: It is an anna university affiliated college. So syllabus is mostly a decade old. Only college transport means are allowed for students. Even if we are near the college we must use their bus and pay a hefty sum for it.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Currirculum is set by anna university which is an established university in tamilnadu. Semester exam is conducted twice in an year for 4 years. Pass percentage is 45% after calculating with internal examinations set by college.

The college has the below listed major events that happen in an academic year: 1. Achievers day- celebrated to mark the success of students who had achieved, won prices etc. in symposium and other events. Conquista- for people who had been placed in any company for job. 4. Cultural day- competition between all the departments and all the academic year for every stuents. 5. College day- we can dance, sing, etc. Will be conducted at night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are 3 types of admission that happens in the college. 1. Merit quota- for students who had scored the required cutoffs in their 12th examinations. Their fee is nominal for an year. 2. Sports quota- for students who are state or national level players and who have achieved a greater level in their field of sports. Their fee is the lowest in this college. 3. Management quota- for Indians, NRIs and foreign students. A capitation fee will be collected from them which is usually a hefty amount. After that these students have to pay the fee for each academic year. *semster fee of Rs.5000 is collected for each semester.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are many scholarship programs that can be made use of by the students. There are scholarships which are caste based, parents income based and merit based. Each type of scholarship differs according to the individual. Necessary documents should be submitted which are asked at each academic year.Loans can be availed only through banks. Indian bank is the most accessible bank that can be used for this college purposes.

Campus Life

4.5

There are no Extracurricular activities of any sort but at each semester period, classes to develop the soft skills of students are provided. They also train us in getting placed in companies for jobs. But hostel students can use the college sports grounds after college hours. Dayscholars are not allowed there.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni meetings are held at each year which are organised by the alumnus of the college. It varies depending upon the batches. No facilities are provided to contact them by the college. No help is needed from them for students in this college.

Admission

By using management quota: After getting my 12th marks we visited the college in person. We needed documents of TC, community certificate, 10th and 12th mark sheet, birth certificate. Then a seat will be reserved after paying an amount quoted by the college admission officer. Concessions will be provided in fees for students who opt through sports quota. Most of the staffs have completed Ph.D in various courses. Also now anna university made it compulsory for all the staffs to complete atleast one Ph.D. The staffs are always helpful in learning and getting placements for the students.

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation
