Course Curriculum Overview

2

The curriculum of my course is very basic and not very useful. Even to make the curriculum hard they added extra subjects in my 1st and 2nd year which is very bad. Even the timing for exam is very less that students can't complete it's syllabus on time.

Fees and Financial Aid

First semester course is 4500 approx which is an average fees for colleges in sirsa. So according to it the fees structure of one year is 9000 approx. It is affordable according to other colleges. From previous year the fees has increased a bit.

Campus Life

1

My college focus on social life very less that they assigned different activities but many of the students doesn't even knew about that. Even the college doesn't provide freshers party. And they only take students of final years for trip and that's hardly for one day.

Admission

My parents don't want me to go to other city for studies so I have to study in sirsa and i choose this college because it's provide better studies in sirsa rather than any other colleges. And secondly it's fees is also very affordable.

Faculty

2

The curriculum for my course is very basic . They also add some additional subjects which are useless in my course. Every subject have different marking scheme and exams are done after each six months semester wise.

Night Life

1

My college have a library and a canteen but the canteen food and it's surrounding area is not good. The library is quite spacious with ac. They even provide newspaper for reading and different novels for students.but there is no night life in college.

The placement is not that much good but decent like the college claims the average package of 6 lakh but the actual package is about 3-4 lakh and the companies are more about the management courses and not that much for the technical.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific Aspects That Influenced the Decision For students choosing a professional or certificate course, the curriculum usually becomes the deciding factor based on three key pillars: Job-Oriented Specific Skills: The primary influence is the curriculum's direct focus on market-based, job-ready skills (e.g., Python, Data Science, Digital Marketing tools). Unlike a traditional degree, the appeal is that every module must be immediately applicable to a job. Portfolio Development: Students are heavily influenced by modules that are project-based or require them to build a portfolio (like a website, a code repository, or a marketing plan). The curriculum must be designed to result in tangible work that can be shown to employers. Industry Certification Alignment: If the course prepares students for an external, recognized industry certificate (like CCNA, MCP, or Google/Meta certificates), the curriculum's strict adherence to that certification standard is a major influence. 2. Preparation for Real-World Applications The curriculum of a successful short-term course is designed to excel specifically in preparing students for real-world applications. Curriculum Improvements Mandatory Soft Skills Integration: While technical skills are a focus, the curriculum should mandate dedicated modules on non-technical, yet critical, job skills like: Professional Communication and Email Etiquette Team Collaboration and Project Management (Agile/Scrum basics) Interview Preparation and Mock Interviews Industry Feedback Loop: Establish a more frequent and formal system to update the curriculum based on current industry demands, possibly involving an advisory board of employers or recent alumni.
