My College Days at Visvodaya Engineering College

In the course curriculum, sometimes may be one or two subjects may differ from course curriculum rest it is fine. In teaching methods, i think it is good enough as we had projector to explain topic it was easier to understand. For every month, there will be a unit test and for every 2 or 3 months, the mid exams(Internal exams) occures. In total there are 2 mid exams per sem.

1.The students are eligible for the placements from 6th semester. 2.There are so many companies visited some of the them are Lumen Technologies, DXC Technologies, IBS, Hidden Brains, Vodafone and many others. In total overall placements was around 450 students in all companies. 3.The highest package was 11LPA and the average package is 350000 LPA. 4. Students need minimum of 60% for getting placements. 5.To do a job.

The fee structure is around 60 thousand per year normally. However, if the student has qualified in EAMCET, the fee structure may vary depends on the rank. Some students with good EAMCET rank will have other good perks as low fee, lower van or hostel fee compared to other. The main fee was building fee which is 5500, this is same for everyone even for students who have not qualified in EAMCET. In total if the student hasn't qualified in EAMCET, his/her fees would be 60 thousand per year, If the student has qualified in EAMCET, his/her fees is 5500 per year(It may be increased Now). The exam fees is 920 per sem including labs. The supplementery fees is 420rs for one subject, and increase 100rs per subject if there are more supplies.

1.The annual and technical events do happen regularly mainly farewell party, Annual day and some other technical events. 2.Our college has very large library with so many books. students can easily find the book they needed. 3.Faculties explain their topic through black board as well as through the projector for any pictorial or video representation for some simpler explaination. 4.Sports event does happen mainly cricket, badminton and kabbadi. 5.The students have made a group for any volunteering activies like blood donation camps held in our college or any helps for students,

I have applied for 2 other colleges Sree Venketswara Engineering College and Geethanjali Engineering College. From these three colleges i got selected in Visvodaya Engineering College. I didn't get any rejection The admission process is pretty much like in every other college. After completion of EAMCET and the rank card was declared, we can select few colleges for the consuling. The most common exam for accepting for the course is EAMCET. The cut off marks for the EAMCET is 40 marks. The overall admission experience is good and simple.

Most of the faculty were very friendly to students, they were always ready to explain the doubts you have. Also, we have projector in which students can easily understand the topic through video or pic representation. The placement staff were so friendly, they teach you all the soft skills you needed for an interview like spoon feeding so that you can easily understand and gain good knowledge. There were 5 exams per sem on average and 3 labs per sem on average. Many students don't fail labs as faculty were so good to explain and in semister exams it can't be predicted. Being a JNTUA affilated college, we can't predict as the papers will be corrected by another staff so the way of explaining a topic changes in each faculty we can't guess. The subjects were revelent to the course.

1.The night life was not so great in our college. College has timings upto 5Pm evening and after college is closed. So there were not so many things we could do at night. 2.There were stict timings in the hostel. 3. Also, there were not so many places to hangout at nights.
