My college's short review

Course has elective subjects and choice based credit system which is good. We students can decide which subjects can we study based on our own interests. The exam usually is conducted in a short time period which makes ita bit difficult.

They encourage us to attend internships at any given situations. They also recommend us to visit some firms for internship opportunities. They also ask for a report to know about our experiences and the projects we done during the internship

Every year we have placement training and aptitude classes. We also have specialised placement classes at the final year period. Almost everyone gets placed in our department. I planned to get placed in a core company rather than studying more

I pay 50000 every year only for tution. Bus fee is separate. There wasn't any caution fee, but there was a registration and admission fee which is just 500(both). Lab fees does not applicable for our department. Both central and state government scholarships are available for us.

There are few cultural events and sports events. There isn't much but there are some. Student-run social groups aren't there. No clubs based on students but we have department wise clubs in which we conduct department level competitions.

I tried chennai institute of technology but due to fee issues and their demand for more marks i couldn't join there. I wished for the same course in that college which is now I'm studying here. It seems there isn't any difference at all.

Faculties for each and every subjects separately makes every subject different and interesting. There are plenty of staffs available for subjects. We have 6 to 7 exams every semester. It is not that much hard but some students find it difficult to pass due to the limited time per semester

Yeah there was a meeting with a faculty during the admission time. I attended it with my parent. They asked about my school life and we discussed about the fee structure of the college and the procedures to join the college

There's a gym in our college which almost has every equipments that the other gyms have. Hostel timings are dynamic and we can enter at any time but with permission. Our college has a temple at it's enterence.
