Course Curriculum Overview

3

With the chalk and talk method we also do researches and presentations so it becomes easy for the whole class to interact. Confidence boosts up when one comes up and stand in front of the podium. We also have subject specific moot with other co curriculums like sports, fests, sessions etc We also have smart classes which makes lectures more fun and interactive with audio and visuals. Law is a very interesting and practical subject and it can be used in the coming future with day to day use of that knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

4

We get signatures from our hod/director on internship applications. We can do internships in government sectors as well as private firms. We don't get stipends yet but in future it can be possible. We get a long summer breaks of approx two months in which we can do online and offline internships also. College takes us to jail and sc visits too for a better understanding of ground level work.

Placement Experience

2

From 9/10 semesters the students become eligible for placements. Students are given some attendance relief for like 4/6 months to do their internships in best places around India. Companies like IBM, INFOSYS, AMAZON , Tech mahindra are some which offers placement with average 4 lpa, highest being 25lpa. 60% is the placement rate in ba llb. My plan after getting the degree is trying for judiciary and preparing for llm and phd.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the first two years of ba llb is approximately 130000 each. The tuition fee revolves around 60-65000. Lab fee is for 1000, sports fee is 500 and library fees also 1000. Students can deposit the fees in two installments. We have to give compulsory 3000 for every end semester exams. There is around 4/5000 difference in the general and other categories of students. On the time of admissions, students receive a scholarship named with early birds during the admission procedures. Afterwards whoever tops the semester gets scholarship cheque of various prices like ?5000,7000,10000 & 20000 every year. The fees of the course increase every year by some percentage like 2/5/10%.

Campus Life

4

We have some flagship academic events like Vs Mani international law moot court competition and National level trial advocacy and judgement writing competition. We completed 10 editions of the moot court competition and two editions of trial advocacy. In the coming future we will also have international conferences. In library we have around 3000 books many journals two newspapers etc We have legal aid cell, nss, ncc sports etc

Admission

I got admission in gd goenka sohna, lpu subodh etc but i chose jnu as it offers students serious studies with 6 lectures daily for 5 days in a week. Unlike other colleges there is no bunking of classes in jnu Jaipur. Here both the teachers and the students take studies seriously. I applied for clat and lsat exams but couldn't make it because of my poor scores and general category. Jnu Jaipur organise an entrance test for students to get themselves admission in the college the cut off is not that high. One should be 10+2 eligible with more than 70% attendance for a scholarship also. The overall admission process is not very difficult and is easily done by the students itself.

Faculty

2

The relationship of the faculties and the students is quite good. Every student can approach easily to the faculties. With approx 250/300 students in the law department there are 20/25 faculties. We have mainly mid sems and end sems but we do have unit tests and assignments also for the practical marks for the internals. Mid sems is of 20 marks and end sem is of 60 marks the other 20 marks comes from a project or assignment or presentation.

Night Life

3

We have a very peaceful campus nightlife and we enjoy in our events as we offer lunch and dinner services to the participating teams. We have hide out, food junction, limra, kay's cafe, medical canteen and more to enjoy and hangout. Gym facilities are also available for hostelites teachers and students both. One has to enter into hostels before 10 pm. The locality is not so safe to hangout outside the campus as it is an isolated place in jagatpura

I chose the BA LLB course for its blend of law and arts subjects, offering a comprehensive understanding of law, society, and governance. The interdisciplinary approach, with subjects like political science and history alongside core legal studies providing a strong foundation. Practical elements like moot courts and internships also prepare students for real worls legal challenges, making it a ideal course for law careers. Exam are based on semester system which includes mid-sem and end-sem which means exams are taken 4 times in a year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course was my main focus being in the judiciary exam, and this college's curriculum can be quite very helpful for that. The curriculum prepares us for real World applications such as litigation through moot court competitions which are held regularly on different levels and they also offer information regarding moot courts being held in different Colleges where we can apply and participate. A few improvements can be done in the course curriculum by making it more student friendly and the teaching methodology should be introduced to students in a way which makes them comfortable and open to more knowledge in a friendly manner. The exams are held timely and their frequency stands to be frequent and the difficulty level for the same stands to be moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specifically the aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision was the legal knowledge and the awareness of one's legal rights. The curriculum prepares us for the journey of being a lawyer or an legal practitioner in a way that one can do very well in any field they choose. If i were to suggest the areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods that would be to hire better qualified teachers and compulsive 75% attendance for the students. The exams are held every six months along with mid semester exams in between and the difficulty level is not much if you are serious about your studies.
