Khalsa College Amritsar's Real Insights

I wanted to the Bcom and i was very happy to join the college as it has good reputation and the Curriculam did not prepared us for the real life applications they should provide us more practical knowledge in order to make it really impactfull and the frequency of exam was good as we used to see have mid semester test on time and exams were also on time

placements were good company regulary visit the placment departent and it was also announced which company is coming thyw also had a placement group by adding all the stuents they made a community and then students used to get updates from there but they did not provided good salary so i did not opt of any

I paid semester wise fees which was 30000 per semester and bringing it to the 60000 a year there were some registration fees of 500 and the admission form was in the prospectus and it also costs 500 Rupees rest there were activities fees if you want to join any society etc upto 100 rupees and there wese some classmates who belonged to SC category and they paid alomost half fees and that also was returned to them by the govenment there is merit scholarship but they show tantrums when you aks for it

social life at khalsa college is very hard to maintain as you have to showoff and people there come to fashion show not to the college and there were no smart boards no technology used in the classes there were some extra curriclar activites but favorites always take that

i did not apply for any other college i only applied for this college as i wanted to take addmission in this college only everything was smooth in all process i did not took any rejection there was some eligibility createra i do not remeber but they do have some previous things or subject to have if you want to tkae a particular course but with registrar permisiion you can take admission in any course

the Faculty was average they didnt make us understand the concepts and Numericals then were very difficult to attempt in the Exam and then the Course structure was also the average they made us study one topic in differnet subjects over and over again and the exam systems are also average students can do cheating it not uptoo the mark as many students used to being the chits and phones in the exam halls and the Marking system was poor they do not see the content they just see the length of the answer as it was also written in the question paper that the answer should be in 7 Pages and it was very hard to attempt all the question due to the time limit

i did not opt for the hostel so i do not know how the night life was in the college but collegee remained open and there were security Guards for the nights and when there werr book fair then the college remained always open in the night also and it was stunning
