Remarks

The college central library is one of the best in India. It is built with international standards spread around 4500sq.m. It has a digital library, Audio-visual section, conference room, journal section, research scholar section etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Like most colleges in India, the college is semester based. The course structure is similar to the one set by Anna university. This college is Autonomous so there may be slight change in the syllabus.

Placement Experience

During my completion the placements were poor. But now I heard it is good. The college has a placement cell that gives trainings on apptitudes and conducts mock interviews. The placement cell is effective in supporting and organizing placement drives.

College Events

1. Each and every department will be celebrating Symposiums yearly once. 2. College Annual sports day celebration will be a great event to watch. 3. Hostel day will be celebrated for hostellers yearly once.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible when compared to other colleges. There will be an ?20000 extra fee that wont be documented(billed) on top of govt. Fixed fee. The hostel fees will be around 42K per year. There will be exam fee and stationary fee as well during each sem.

Fees and Financial Aid

No. I didnt avail any scholorships. My friends were given scholorships from government of tamilnadu. The scholorship amount depends on the category(BC, MBC, SC/ST) with the highest being ?30000. I availed the first graduation scholorship.

Campus Life

The college is good in sports. It is the zonal leader in sports like Cricket and football. TNCA has setup a cricket ground which is well maintained to host the trainings for Tamilnadu Ranji trouphy team.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is good but with less option for food. You will definitely find the food boring. But I recommend to use the hostel for an year atleast, so that you will have good relationship with other departments. There is a separate hostel for 1st year students.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, there are alumni connects every year. This will be conducted during the graduation day. The Alumni cell also connects the ex-students for different chapters held in different cities. Its aim is to facilitate lifelong learning through the exchange of ideas and knowledge.

Faculty

The faculty was well knowledged with both industrial and curriculum experience. Most of them are friendly in nature, so it was easy for students to interact with them for doubts. Atleast 1 Ph.d lecturer will be available for each department.

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Better infrastructure leads to better education

I chose this college over others because of the infrastructure and placement levels and packages. There are many colleges I wanted to apply but as this college which is convenient for me as it is near my home I chose this over others. The yearly fee is also very affordable and for management students many opportunities are provided too. The bus fees is also very affordable.
