Course Curriculum Overview

4

There were many aspects that influenced me for my curriculum like: 1. Hardwork 2. Dedication 3. Consistency 4.Problem Solving The curriculum does prepare everyone for outside world. The area in improvements I feel is more Technology should be introduced for preparation of outside world The exams are once in a semister and are nor that difficult

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees starts From 1.3L and goes up to 1.4L My classmates who are from other categories pay from somewhat 50000- 1L depending on what category they belong to. For scholarships there are government schemes which give free educa For girls

Campus Life

4

The college helds 2 sports event i.e one inter house and one inter college One quiz event 4 cultural event and 2 social events and 3 events in which you have stay in college for a weekThe library in our college is a treasure nearly having all the important books for architecture The sports and extra curricular activities are good but you need to be able to manage your time

Admission

I choose this college because of it's academics and college culture. I got other colleges also but I wanted this college only You have to give NATA and JEE-2 paper after your 12th exams in which you should study Maths and SCI as a subject

Faculty

4

The faculty to student ration is good. Each class has 3 main faculty and other subject faculty. The student faculty relationship is really good. The faculty is always approachable There is no such favourite faculty and worst faculty. All the faculty are very helpful and cooperative There 4 exams in a year and other submissions.

Night Life

3

After college I do my workout and then complete my assignments and also meet my friends. Overall this lifestyle teaches me to have a good time management and prepares me for the outside world College timings are 8:30 am to 4:30pm There are few spots around the college to roam around like jijai, shivrai, joshi wadewale

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation. There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
