Course Curriculum Overview

4

I chose this course because i was from a commerce field and this college was best known for its curriculum regarding commerce subjects. They taught income tax and various important subjects that are much needed for a commerce kid. The curriculum prepares us very well for the real world but lacked a proper practical use of the subject. If the teachers were more humble towards the whole class and not just some selected individuals and the course offered more practical knowledge it would be a huge success. For me the frequency of exams and difficulty was even. We had tests every month and exams every 6 month.

Placement Experience

3

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The comapnies such as wipro hcl often come in for campus placements they make numerous offers. The highest package was 7 lpa and lowest was 120000pa. 90 percent of the students gets placements. My plan is to get a masters degree in business management.

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise since i was a regular student i had to pay just 5000 rs but the self finance category had to pay alot. It was around 28000 rs. The management was pretty strict about the discipline. Real strict about the attendance the usage of mobiles etc. Scholar ships were available but the process was too hectic. You had to go through ton of paper work just to get validation of the teacher and sometimes even after doing all that student did not receive any money due to various problem such as website malfunction etc.

Campus Life

2

Many festivals like dandiya night and tech fest are conducted in the campus. The library is easily accessible with a library card. The technological facilities are great with each classroom being a smart classroom. There are limited opportunities for people who are good at sports. There are many social groups that help animals poors etc. but none in favor of students.

Admission

I applied to BBD BBAU and LU but i chose this college due to its well known curriculum in commerce. I did not get any rejection from any other college. I rejected them. The admission process is very simplified. You can apply online and offline both. Then you'd have to go through the admission test in which if u do good and get rank under 200 you would get admission in regular students which means 1/4th of the fee per year.

Faculty

1

The faculty was less in accordance to the population of students. And the teachers were really very mean to most students always had their pet. The best faculty was only the statistician one. It was great. But other than that they all were just mean. I did not like them because they did not intend to help us but wanted to make dominance. The exams were pretty difficult we had 2 semesters every year and each year the exams and subjects got harder. Alot of students even got caught cheating. It was hilarious.

Night Life

3

There is no gym it has a small canteen where there mostly teachers roam around the hostel timming are very strict. Inside the campus the ground is the most famous spot to roam around at night. Also the strais section is a must visit area.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The core circular is moderately relevant but lens more forward theory than the practical application code, subject cover, fundamental concept and providing a base, but there is limited focus on industrial skill project work, coding or case studies which affect real world redness. Elective options are few restricting subject choice. The labour is mostly fake and really updated making it less aligned with the current industry. Trends exams are conducted twice a year medicine and M with internal contributing about 30% of the mark the frequency naval but timing of clashes with the critical session level is moderate theory tends to focus on road learning rather than the critical thinking. Overall the circular needs to more practical exposure, updated content and flexibility to prepare student for employment or higher studies.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester students become eligible for campus placement as after completing the sixth semester they can apply for the available vacancies. The companies which visited a college for placement are Flipkart Zomato Axis Bank etc. These companies gave many offers to the students to apply for the job, the best ones are selected. Highest package given to a student is 5lakhs Annual. To the student who had much quality 70% of students in the college get placements after they complete their studies. My plan after getting the degree is to apply for a job in a bank or to look for any government sector to work in.

Admission:

The admissions are purely based on merit. The eligibility criteria is a student must have passed INTERMEDIATE WITH 40% FOR GENERAL AND OBC, SC/ST -33% MARKS. There is no Interview and the total number of seats intake are 80. The admission process is quite straightforward and lucid. I chose B.com because it provides a broad scope of employment options and job scope for graduates as a large number of B.Com graduates choose to pursue self-employment or land lucrative salary packages in prestigious companies.

Starting off with the negative effects of attending college. Tuition has skyrocketed over the years leaving college students thousands of dollars in debt right out of high school, since many people cannot afford to fully pay their schooling off. Going in that much debt is a huge benefactor of people attending college because many people just cannot afford it.

A few negative effects are debt, partying, sexual assault, missing family and friends, and stress. Positive effects are he/she gets a degree, makes new friends, becomes more diverse, most likely gets a good job after graduating, and helps he/she to become more independent and grow as an individual.
