Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum strictly tells the students to conduct minimum one activity in a group of minimum 3 to go on the fields and learn how the principles of management are actually applied in the practical world. The project includes industry visits, public surveys, etc.

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship programmes starts with the beginning of 3rd year. The college has done collaborations and partnerships with various business organisations who will to provide internships to the students. The college has a very wide network in the market and therefore students don't have to suffer much in search of internships as everything is readily provided to the students by the college itself.

Placement Experience

3

The college does have a placement cell but the limited no. of companies only prefer recruitment of students who have completed or are pursuing master's degree. Students who are undergraduate finds it impossible to secure a job position directly from campus recruitment. By the end of the year students gets a very wide network in the market and they can take its advantages to do something on their own

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fees for Bachelor's of Business Adminstration programme in shri vaishnav institute of management and science was 60000/- in the academic years 2023 and 2024. The annual fee for the same was ranging from 45000/- to 50000/- in previous years and it is expected to increase in 2025 by 10000/-. Interested students are supposed to pay 10000/- initially as their seat allotment provision fee and rest 50000/- is paid in two equal installments. If in any case a student don't pay any installment in the due time, charges of 10/- are applied for every day after the due date. 5000/- is paid as the caution money which gets transferred to nominated bank account after the student gets a TC.

Campus Life

5

A very healthy social life in the college. The college follows an orthodox methodology of practicing management, and therefore events like freshers party and other clubbing events are completely curbed. Female faculties and students have to compulsorily wear full sleeved high neck clothes and they won't even get entry in college if their clothes are very exposing. College does organizes many fests and events on their own level but they don't allow students to get involved for the sake of social welfare and harmony in the society.

Admission

The prime reason of selecting this college was the working hours. They conduct only 3 classes over a period of 2 hours, leaving the students with rest of the day so that they can begin with other tasks like MBA entrance examination preparation, jobs, internships etc., whereas other colleges have working hours of 6-7 hours, not allowing students to pursue other things, leaving them exhausted at the end of the day. The college follows a strict dress code of uniform, formal trousers and shirt as decided by the institute, and civil dresses only on saturday, that too has to be long sleeved for girls and less exposive. The PG library is open for all the SVIMS students and it operates from morning 9 to evening 9.

Faculty

4

Faculties in the college are a combination of elderly experienced teachers and young enthusiastic teachers which gives a great boost to the students in almost every aspect of their career building. The institute is affiliated from the state university Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV), and therefore the entire academic plans, syllabus, curriculum, etc., are decided by DAVV and gets implemented in every affiliated institute. The students are required to score minimum 60% to pass each annual exam. The syllabus contains Major subjects, minor subject, foundation subjects, elective subjects, each having their own exam paper format and marking schemes.

Night Life

4

The office gets closed at 6 PM but the PG library functions till 9. The institute is located in main city and in the locality of residents and therefore nightlife is similar to the nightlife in the city, safety and security of every student is assured within the premises and students on vehicles have to compulsorily wear helmets and safety gears.

I am a financial trader deals and equity so I am very fascinated about global market and World Trade that's why I have opted for foreign trade this is the best undergards degree for me and the curriculum prepare me for the real world foreign trade and businesses across the world if but if the teaching style is converted from more practical to less theoretical then it would be more good for the students there are total six subjects in my course and do it is a technical course that's why the difficulty level is quite high the timings of the examination is around 3 hours and for some is 2 hours the frequency of examination are three exams held in 3 months 2 are internals and one is main and one external examinations are also there.

Many companies which are into brand building and PR agencies are the ones who offers placements to our course people. It's a good thing in all aspects barring a few most students feel so empowered that they dont even apply for the placements. Like me, I won't be applying for the same as I know will be doing something on my own because college has provided us with enough intenrships program to feel secured about our careers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum is fairly relavant and covers core subjects in depth . whichinflunced my decisions to join the program .it provides a strong foundation for both real=world applications and higher studies. some parts of the curriculam could be udated to include newer technologies and trends . more practical sessions industry based projects and workshops would help bridge the gap between theory and real world skill. Exams are conducted twice a semester mid term and end term with regular internal assessments. the diffilculty level is modderate to high depending on the subject but m,anageble with regular classes . overall the curriculam is ,structured and balanced though theres a room for enhancement in practical exposure and flexibility.
