The institute has a presence across the country and is deemed as the best Fashion Institute in the country college management is pretty decent and takes students feedback seriously.

Separate entrance for NIFT there are 4 rounds two written a group discussion and finally a Personal Interview centre choice is based on rank in entrance.

Course curriculum is good faculty are very friendly educated and labs are well equipped.

Internship was a verygood learning experience and the course comprises of two internships attended by almost all major retail export fashion companies in the country there is an option for exchange program as well.

Placements are almost 100% every year central placements are held and all students are free to attend all major companies of the fashion field attend walmart, lifestyle, ITC etc are a few key names.

The institute celebrates any festival that the students there are a lot of annual fests a inter NIFT competition the college also participates actively in all fests held by other colleges.

Hostel rooms are mostly on twin sharing basis average rating would be food is decent PG accommodation could cost anything between 5 9k.

Government subsidy is available for students given that proper documents are provided.
