Course Curriculum Overview
The course I have choosen is B.Sc(statistics). I would say this course is pay worthy by considering all the aspects which includes faculty teaching college surroundings...etc Of course there are some flaws which are not related to study so they are ignorable. After completion of this course there are many opportunities out in the real world.so that the students get placed in jobs in very short time. In curriculum and teaching wise there are no issues, this college is very good for it.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internships which are there in our college. Mainly there are 3 internships whis conducted at different semesters that is 2 Shot term internships which are happened in 2nd and 4th semester of time period 2 months each.and there is long term internships in 6th semester for 6 months period. They didn't give any stipend for completing the internships but they are very useful for students in placements time.
Placement Experience
•When I comes to placements, our university has decent placements record which is about 60% students get placed in campus.the remaining students also get there gob in their relevant fields. •there are many companies like TCS,Wipro,HCL...ect are come to our college for placements. •The students who completes their 5th semester are eligible for campus placements. •my plans after degree is to clear the banking examinations.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
•Normally the 1st ,2nd and 3rd year fees varies slightly That is 1st year fee is 20k 2nd year fee is 21k and final year fee is 22k •The fee structure is same for all category students but there are some scholarship benefits for the OBC,SC,ST category students they will get upto 12k scholarship from the government. •There are no extra charges for tution will be taken, the college schedule is from 9am to 4pm •Also merit students will get some fee concession.
Campus Life
There are mainly two culturals happened in our university whis are freshers party and another cultural is for the students who are completing the degree that is final year students. Other also do like independence day,for us statistics day..etc There is some what disappointment when it comes to sports, there is very less time given to sports rather they give main preference for studies. The social life is also very good for this college students.
Admission
•I have applied for 2 more colleges along with this college My 1st preference is out college and the next two are also very good colleges.I got admission in all the 3 colleges I have applied for.But based on the teaching, college reputation, ambience, and distance from my home to College after considering all these aspects I choose Acharya Nagarjuna University is very good for me.so I joined there •The admissions are done by submitting admission form with the course information that you wanted to join. After filling the admission form,by considering all the aspects like the previous academic marks and merit, category of the student they give addmission. For example I selected B.Sc statistics.my previous academic score is 96.8% and I belong to OBC category I got admission in all the 3 colleges I have applied for
Faculty
When if comes to College faculty they are very cooperative with very good subject knowledge. They give equal preference to everyone with out any biased. I like Ashwin sir the most, who teach statistics have very good teaching skills along with the personal interactions with every student For each semester there will be 3 exams that are mid -1,mid-2and prefinals will be conducted before final semester. The question paper is somewhat difficult when compared to the final semester question paper. Most of the students clear the exams, that is the pass percentage is very high up to 85%.
