Likes
- They include extra curricular acitvities and give equal importance to them just as much as academics.
- We have different clubs like, dance club, drama club, fencing club, NCC, NSS, Rotract club and many more. These help students build disciple and teaches commitment while also doing somwthing fun amidst the academic stress
- The canteen faciloties are good. Difderent types of food are served for breakfast in compatison to lunch and frankly all the ingredients are brought in fresh eveey single morning and never use stale ingredients or raw items from the pervious day
Dislikes
- They take internals way too seriously. Two tests of 20 marks is conducted and then reduced to 5 marks each. The remaining 10 marks are based on attendance and skill development.
- The collegw campus is dirty, almost most of the entrace is covered in pigeon poop and the cleaner clean it everyday morning during class hours producing a nasty stench in the morning, ruins the mood
- The fact that they keep PTMs eveey month in a degree college, we feel afraid to make any mistake and learn from tgem because they are so adament about informing every single little thing to our parents, its annoying
Course Curriculum Overview
Ive always been intrested in BBA to begin with. The curriculam includes Accountancy, Ststistics, Principles of Management, Constitutional values, Marketing business decisions, English and Sanskrit for language. When i forst heard the curriculum, i thought it was almost perfect, except for the fact that we are learning Sanskrit language for 2 years which is think is completely unnecessarry. The exams are pretty easy since we are made to write notes in class room and lectures are prwtty detailed and well executed, regardless od what question may come, we are well prepared
Internships Opportunities
Well... Ive literally just joines the college so i dont have a personal experience regarding internship, but a lot of seniors have given opinions and based on that, the internships are purely dependent on the student and student's capacity because some walked out empty handed and some had 20LPA pacakage.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course im studying eight now is BBA, and i think its extremly affordable. The tution fees is about 50,000. The lab fees, library fees, maintainance fees and over all development fees rounds of to 15,000 per year. 10,000 is the seat allotment fees that we were asked to pay at the time of admission. Sinve i had scroed a distinction in 2nd PUC, i was givwn a concession of 5000/- so i payed only 70000/- for the academic year 2024-2025, which i think is extremely affordable and worth the amount for the quality education Nagarjuna provides
Campus Life
Ive personally never been to the library, Library is pretty small so i dont know what books are kept in there. But as i kwntioned before, there are a lot of activites to take part in and a lot of multidisicplinary fields. These help us relax and allow us to do Something we actually enjoy, rather than just having us pushed around as per tbeir intrests. Its a great addition and has a lot of positive impact.
Admission
I sis not apply to any other college than Nagarjuna, i did my PU in Nagarjuna PU college, so it was given that i will do my degree in Nagarjuna degree college. Since i was already a known student, they did a small writing test regarding accountacy and business studies, later i had to give an interview where they most took review of Nagarjuna PU college and then, i was admitted after paying 10,000 and blocking my seat. The over all admission experience was pretty smooth.
Faculty
We have 1 faculty for every 10-12 students. My personal favpurite is Lakshmi maam, shes so supportive, soft spoken and stands for students, most of the times if we want to go to any competitions, she's the one who asks permission from HOD on our behalf. No matter what happens in the college, we know she got our back. I dont personally dislike anyone, all the faculties are well spoken and nice. But Nagaratna maam seems a little too strict, maybe she can smile a little more and interract with atudents a littlw more? I dont know but regarding Nagaratna maam so more changes can he done
