- Most teachers are from west bengal so they are knowledgeable and have good experience.Most teachers are phd holder also
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not that great as you compare from other colleges.
- They have school like rules like uniform, attendance, classes.
- Environment is not that great i am vegetarian and canteen in college provide veg and non veg both. Which is not suitable for pure vegetarian like me.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have many options in specialization you can choose wisely. Courses have extra curricular subject which provide aptitude knowledge and real life applications. Courses are good and teaching methods are also good . difficulty level are depend on student if you study whole semester then its normal
Internships Opportunities
In college many internship companies come some give stripend and some are for free. It totally depend on student. We can also apply for offcampus internship and courses. Every semester we have to make a compulsory project related to our course. This projects also help us to grab any internship or offers.
Placement Experience
From 7th semester students are eligible for placement drive. There are many startup companies and know companies come for placement drive most of them are for technical jobs and sales jobs the highest offer for this year is 22 lpa and average packages for LPA percentage of students getting placement is depend on student and their eligibility and knowledge my plans after degree is to do my own startup.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise i paid 80000 tution fees.one time admission fees and semester exam fees 2k. There no other fees that they charge. Bus fees depend on the location. If you take hostel then its fees is different including mess it is around 25k to 30k.this fees is for btech course there are other courses available which has lower fees like bca.fees is increasing every year because of new developments they are doing in college and providing facilities.They also have scholarship which depend on your 12th marks,jee marks ,extra.They also provide scholarship for those who are in to three per semester in there class from starting 1st semester.
Campus Life
There are many festivals held in our college. Like sports fest ,techfest and food fest,extra. They also do science exhibitions for schools and colleges and many art competitions also. The library is very good you can find every book related to your course. Sports fresh is held every year in which many sports been held like cricket football volleyball carrom chess thug of war etc. There are many clubs in our college students can apply for their own clubs by the approval of vice chancellor sir.
Admission
I choose this college because it is very affordable then other colleges in our area.Teachers are very good,most of them are phd holders.i got confirmation from many colleges but i choose this because of above reasons. I don't want to go to other districts so i didn't apply for other colleges.
Faculty
There are many faculties, i don't know exact numbers but there are good enough numbers of faculty for everything.Math faculty of btech is my favourite.He is like perfect professor that you can think of. Extra curricular subject teachers are not so good . Each semester has 2 mid term and one final exam.There are not exact numbers of Students that fail.but some 2 4 students get fail due to low attendance or low marks on exam.
