Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course provides knowledge about Ayurveda science with some allopathic knowledge. There is no fixed curriculum and not helpful to students. There should be more practical knowledge provided with fixed schedule of completion of syllabus. There is no fixed timing of exams.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

College charged for internship in full amount as of tuition and hostel fee. No stipend is given to the students. No companies approach the college for placements. There are almost nil patients coming to the college hospital.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee for government quota is 180000/year Fee for management quota is 240000/year Hostel fee first year is 100000 + 10% increment every year. College takes 4 blank cheques at the day of admission. 16900 miscellaneous charges 25000 security deposit Scholarship is only for students belonging to Punjab state and SC category

Campus Life

2

There is no sports activity in the college. The annual day is held typically around March. Freshers and Farewell are held but management charges money from students for every single function ranging from INR 200-1500. There are non functional practical labs, no computer labs. Has only 2 smart classes. There are no social groups or clubs except for anti ragging committee

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel and college is in remote area Menu is repetitive Food quality is average There is no AC in room The rooms are small and 3-4 students are forced to live in a single room. The rooms has only 1 fan and 1 damaged cooler. Washrooms are unhygienic and there are only 4 toilets and 4 washrooms for every 60-70 students. There is no laundry service. Fee charged according to facilities provided is too much.

Admission

I was forced to choose this college because it was a bit better amongst the rest yet not being the most satisfying. Admission process is through NEET result Students who fail NEET can also get admission under NRI quota

Faculty

4

Most of the faculty members are cooperative. Problems are listened by them. There are on an average 1-2 faculty members for every subject. There are 2-3 terminal examinations before final exams but the terminals do not have a fixed schedule. The management does not give any fixed schedule for terminals, can be taken whenever possible. Mostly students pass exams with an average pass percentage of 75%

Course Curriculum Overview:

I persuade this course as it was my dream to become a doctor but due to less marks in NEET i would not opt for MBBS but got admission in BAMS which is really a good course. This course is total in hindi and sanskrit which often student find different to do but the teaching methods of the facility made it easy for us, like there teaching methods, through projectors and practically. I found this course really difficult in start but now i am comfortable with it.
