Course Curriculum Overview

4

Couse curriculum is relevant for sure. They don't overburden new students with tough subjects. Internal examination, internship report, viva everything is conducted on time. Even model exams are conducted before the main semester exams. The curriculum is excellent with practical papers including moot, client etc..

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a 2021-26 batch. I payed 540000 rs in the admission time. But the fees is increasing every year. 2024 batch payed Alamost 75-80 thousand. Yearly fee was 43000 for me being 2021 batch. It's the same every year. The new batches fee are 70 thousand or more. The fees included caution deposit, library fees, books fees, moot court fees etc. No extra fee is charged after the payment of yearly fee. KLA provides one of the best legal faculties in reasonable cost as compared to other private law colleges.

Campus Life

3.5

Overall experience is quite good. Friendly facilities and environment. There is no ragging practice in the college. Seniors guide the juniors in a good manner. Clubs, moot court society, NCC units, NSS units, Legal aid clinic etc. are actively involved.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Hostel facility is something that I won't recommend that much. They provide college hostel inside the campus and an Annex hostel which is 2km away from college. I'm in annex hostel. I'm not a big fan of food here. But Its comparatively good as compared to other hostels in the locality. They only provide hostel for girls and put high restrictions. It's overall fine. But not higly recommended.

Admission

The main reason why I choose Academy is the kegech that it has. The great legency of Late Narayanan Nair sir is great and well known. Many students from this institution reached the top most positions in Supreme Court and even in UN. I found it to be the best choice for my graduation. I never regret it.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty student ratio is decent. They are truly helpful and constantly motivated us to achieve more. They frequently involve us in Coordinating event and functions. It gives great exposure to us as students.

The moot court competitions and debate competitions are conducted many times in a year which are very useful for a law student.I wish if there are more interested college competitions then it would be more useful.Usually there is a gap of six months between two exams and during that period students get enough time for preperation.

Placement Experience:

The college does have a placement program. It's mainly to companies which have a law department. I don't specifically know the companies but I've heard it offers great exposure. The companies include Technopark companies, UST etc. The package starts from 20000 per month and maybe above according to our profile. My personal loan after the couse is to practice law as an advocate and then go for the judgeship programe.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams usually conducted in two parts as semester ways. But due to the current covid situationno exams has been conducted upto this date. I think some times they probably go for a online exam. Because in kerala the current situation is bad. In the whole India kerala is facing more challenges. The exams are more difficult to pass. The criterion for passing the exams are really hard. Probably the passing average is less compared to other colleges.
