Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum that influenced me to take this course was my passion towards coding. Like the curriculum gives me the practical knowledge which prepares me for the real world practical examples for subject. The teaching methods and course curriculum are great, but a stronger coding culture could improve placements. Midterms are 1.5 hours, and semester exams are 3 hours with strict invigilation. Cheating in midterms leads to failure in that subject, while in semester exams, it results in failure in all subjects under the UFM (Unfair Means) rule. But I feel the seating arrangements of the students for the examinations in classrooms are very poor
Placement Experience
From 6 semester students become eligible for getting pleased in the college no idea about the semester curriculum but I can stay as I got the information from seniors that from 6th semester or 7th semester you get completely ready for getting campus placement. I have no clear information about companies or placements, as the college hides these details. But with the information from my seniors the placement rate is very low, but with hard work, it's possible to get placed. After my degree, I plan to pursue an M.Tech from a good college to gain experience and increase job opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
50000rs/ Semester (Bus Fees Included) 100000rs/ Yr ( Bus fees included) Bus Fees - 9000/ Semester ( Depend on your route) Tuition Fees - 38500rs / SEM Caution fees - 1500rs /-(Only 1 time) Registration fees - 10000rs /-(Excluded after paying 1sem fees) And all the fees of lab and library etc etc are included in Tuition fees. This structure was of computer science branch. If you have selected other branches like (DS, AIML , IOT) specialization of cs branch then the fees is different. The difference occurs in tuition fees we cs students have 38500/- and other branches have 37500/- All these structures were for GENERAL category. I don't have any idea about SC ST reservation fees discount.
Campus Life
My overall college experience is decent, though events are few. We have a fresher party, Kronos (IT event), and Unifest, a fun week-long event with various activities. However, classroom facilities and sports provisions are poor, with only a small ground available. For sports, we visit the university. There are several clubs, but only the Art and Performing Club is somewhat active, while the others are not. Seniors are supportive but not very active in these clubs. Only the clubs like NCC and NSS are very active.
Admission
I tried to applied in MITS Gwalior and also I tried to apply in Davv Indore but my percentile was not good enough for getting an admission in DAVV Indore and in MITS College so I got the admission in ITM College and its not a regret for me but it's a challange for me for getting placed from here. To get admission, you must register through MPDT counseling by the MP government. Eligibility requires over 50% in 12th boards and more than 40 percentile in JEE. For specific branch details, contact the college directly as these data changes every year.
Faculty
The faculties are generally supportive, especially teachers like Megha Lahane, Aamir Zaidi, Rajkumar Rajoria, and Amit Tiwari, who are my favorites. However, some teachers, like Narendra Kumar Verma and Brajendra Rajak, show personal ego, especially if you disagree with them, which can affect midterm marks. We have three exams: Midterm 1, Midterm 2 (20 marks each), and the final semester exam (70 marks), with additional marks for practicals, assignments, and activities. Syllabus notification for midterms is often given only a week prior, which isn't ideal. Most students pass the midterms, but the pass rate drops significantly in semester exams, with nearly half the class failing.
