Course Curriculum Overview
The course offers a detailed instruction and insight regarding the Regarding the indian medical Study of ayurveda which is the ancient Art of Indian medicine the course Should have offered more field work and practice To prepare the students for real life experiences and clinic practice, The college should improve the clinical practice aspect, Term exams are held every six month, The course is divided into three professional years, Each year is of eighteen months, Term exams are held every six Months and after the 18th month University exams are arranged, periodic assessments are held at regular intervals.
Internships Opportunities
after the 4.5 year course, a 1 year internship is mandatory as part of the course which does not offer any stipend, 6 months internship is done in the college and 6 months outside the college. through these internships you get to interact with patients and practice. the campus does not offer placements as of now.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college asked for a fee of 2,48000 during my admission in batch 22-23 now the fee has increased to around 2,80,000. A caution fee of 5000 is taken during admission, administrative fee of 57000 is also taken, the course is a 4.5 year long course so the fee adds up to around 11,14000 for my batch, first year hostel is mandatory and the hostel fee is 100000, i as a GEN category student do not avail any scholarship but the other reserved category students do avail scholarships, various other fines could be imposed for your attendance and other things. Lab fees is taken from time to time.
Campus Life
Annually a fest called Atharva is organised which involves various sports events, annual day, concerts and performances by the students, the fest is generally organized in December January, well known artists like Mame khan performed in the fest, a concert is also organized for new batches after admission, a 10 day program called deeksharambh is held to make the students familiar with the course, library has all the books associated with the course, classrooms are not that well maintained and lack amenities, sports events are held during the fest, a huge ground is present in the campus for these events, no clubs are run in the campus.
Hostel Facilities
hostel is compulsory during the first year, there is one boy's hostel and three blocks for girl's hostel, hostels are quite decent with beds tables and almirahs, a guard is present for each hostel alongside the warden, the mess offers breakfast lunch evening tea and dinner, the menu changes daily, the food is not very great but it's bearable. the hostel fee is around ?100000. after first year, boys need to leave the hostel and rent rooms in nearby areas, girls can choose to stay in the hostel or leave as per their wish.
Admission
i also got a confirmed admission from sardar patel college in balaghat and sri sai institute of ayurvedic research and medicine, which is in the same campus, but i chose Mansarovar college because it is a famous college well knows for this degree, the admission is through neet examination only and the admission is based on cut-off, NEET is the only entrance exam for this course, admission process can be challenging at time's.
Faculty
there are 100 students in a batch and per subject around 2-3 faculty is available, the student faculty relationship with some faculty is very healthy but some faculties are egoistic, the course has two term exams and periodic assessments on regular intervals, marking is lenient and students who study well pass easily, the course examinations are easier and offer HOT questions helpful for preparation for university exam
