Dislikes
- Big number of class size where in it gets difficult for a faculty to give attention to each student.
- Placement department needs improvement to bring in more opportunities from different field there were opportunities but from same field
- Less number of site visits, which is required for a student to gain practical experience.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculam was well organized for the field i was looking for business development and they had other interpersonal skills program which makes you ready for the field. The subject in the course were relevent for the real-world. They could have added more practical training. Exam frequency were very comfortable and the faculties make sure that we are pre-prepared, the difficulty is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There were not much internship opportunites. Most of them were without stipend. We did our internship with airport authority of india where in we were helping the airport in inital development. Make my trip was also their for internship in our year.
Placement Experience
The placement was not great but not bad as well there were companies but particularly from same field. Students got placed in companies like Indigo, Global Aviation etc.. Average package was around , 2-3lpa. I got an opportunity from my connection from an external resource.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for complete course was 390000 and yearly i was paying 130000, college had the flexibiltiy for the fees to be paid in different installments. The advance registration fees was 10,000 to book our seat and then i had to pay the fees on yealy basis. College has their own hostel near to the campus, the fees for the hostel was seperate, iam not aware of the actual amount as i was a day scholar. There were no development or lab fees, there was compulsory charges which we had to pay to the university to get our provisional and OD certificate. Fees of my friends were also same as there were no other categories.
Campus Life
The campus life was good mad great friends for life. We had lots of clubs like orators, radiofm risali, cultural, sports. Every year there used to inter colleg sports tournament, annual cultural event. We ran social groups for swach bharat, orphan kids and many more.
Admission
I was looking for a college in Visakhapatnam as i stay there with my family. The reason i selected this college is because most of the other colleges with with the same course particularly had the same curriculum design but risali had good environment, classrooms, labs for a student to be comfortable in while they are in the college. Admission proccess is they brief you about the college course and facilities provided and then a small round of interview.
Faculty
Faculries were very friendly but one faculty were taking a session for 60 students so it get littile difficult to give time to each of them, but the faculties were very approachable. CEO of the college Mr. Gautham was very understanding and approachable he was great mentor. Course was relevent for the field we need to work on the future there were 6 semester and midterm examination for each semester to prepare in prior. Exam difficulty was moderate, there were few student who failed but cleared them on backlog exams.
