- Academics : The subjects which taught in the college was good in my point of view
- Sports : For volley ball,Foot ball and Indoor games there is a good stadium.
- Faculty : The faculty is very friendly towards student.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure : I didn't like the infrastructure because there is no enough class rooms.
- Canteen : The canteen is very small and also the canteen food is not good Quality and it is very expensive.
- Wifi : Sometimes they didn't provide wifi for students we have to use our own mobile Data.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum which i have choose is Computer science and engineering which is very indemand course now a days. The like this course because I want to become a software engineer. The subjects in CSE are Data base management system,Operating system,Computer networks etc and many more.These curriculum prepares for you in real world applications.The area which should be improved in my point of view is more trending and advanced subjects, technologies should be in put in the curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
The Internship oppurtunities are Virtual Internships which is provided by the AICTE.They offered course and have to complete the course in given time.You can apply for AICTE internships in AICTE portal.Cmpanies SmartInternz,Sun Technologies etc.
Placement Experience
Campus placements are good but you should perform well. The Training and Placement officer will invite many companies for campus drives you should perform well and get selected. From four-one semester you will eligible for campus placements.The companies which visited are Cognizant,Wiley Edge,ADP,Manomay,IBM etc.The highest package is 16LPA and 40% to 50% students will placed both in oncampus and offcampus.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 48000.There is no seperate Tuition fees, caution fees, registartion fee, admission fees, development fees, lab fees, and other charges.There is only the college fee which comes all fees that is 48000 and the separate fee which is Training and Placement fee that is 10,000.The Taining and Placement fee will have to pay every year along with college fee.The Training and placement fee for Aptitude,Verbal training. The management Quota fee for Computer science and Engineering is above 3 lakhs and for another branches have different fee in management Quota. Note : For semester Examination you should pay 1200 Rupees and for Labs the Lab record fee is 250Rs. for each record. The college also provide Reimbursement for Convener quota students which offer by the Goverment.
Campus Life
The Student social groups are Google Developer Space club,IEEE Club and many more.TedX is also one of extra-curricular activity which we have enjoyed alot.The technical fests are Hackathon and Workshops.
Admission
G.Pullaiah college of engineering and Technology is second popular college in Kurnool.The first place is G.Pulla Reddy college so i have applied for G.Pulla Reddy college but i didn't got the seat in that college for CSE branch, but i can get seat in aother branches and I want only CSE. After that I got seat in GPCET and I have joined in it.The admission process is after getting seat in the college you should go to college with Allotment letter for joining with your documents. After they will ask you a date of Orientation day to attend with your parents.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:5. The faculty and student relationship is good and if you have any doubts you can approach any time. Not a particular faculty member, I like everyone based on their teaching.Some faculty will behave rudely when you didn't obey them .So, if you listen them they will also treat you in a good way.
