Frankly, I was weak in Mathematics so I didn't try engineering after I have got merit seat for Bsc (Hons) Agriculture in Annamalai University After joined Agriculture , Maths is the basic aspects for yield , herbicides application, related to crop aspects and also Economics is the most part of the agriculture. Economics prepares you for real world application. 6 months as for one semester. Literally easy to overcome difficult in this course.

They held our traditional fest Pongal at faculty of agriculture at month of January and They held cultural programs and they provide prizes for competitors in culturals at the end of March and April and sports fest were also conducted and Teachers day celebration , Farmers day, Extension programmea etc.. There are more numbers of clubs like poet writing , Tamil writers, Go Green Planting trees etc. Asian biggest library is available at our AU

I were applied TN PARAMEDICAL COURSES but I got merit seat of Bsc MLT at Chengalpat college. But I chosen Agriculture than paramedical. Because at any angle , I have already intersted in Agriculture so I waited for Agriculture. Later I got merit seat in Agriculture. State board Tamil Nadu 12th mark based cut off selection for Bsc( Hons) Agriculture. More than 180 cut off , can be sure for merit seat in Annamalai University.

In our faculty of agriculture, UGs Agri and Horti and Diploma in Agri and Horti and PGs and PhD were studing in faculty. With our Seniors and juniors relationship were friendly bonded and also too PGs and Ph. D . If any doubts we can easily approach any of the seniors they can clear the doubts which all you were in needed and they can help with notes for exams. Sometimes professors were not able to attend the class as soon as they send any of their students PG or Ph. D Interest makes all things clear... No fail at all... Understanding is main weapon at agriculture for surviving without arrears. It is easily when you are ready to read the depth of the subject. Ofcourse, Our Faculty of Agriculture is best among other faculties in Annamalai University.
