Remarks

This is one of the best colleges in the state for an MBA. Its infrastructure is good in the updated campus and also the facilities are strong. Professors are experienced in handling students.

I have a passion for my course. This is the 2-years course. The curriculum is good but is not followed as it should be. Students concentrate more on exams than listening and understanding the class.

It's good, ours is a management school, everyone will be placed and will be given a good salary.

College Events

There are many cultural, sports and many more events held every year in college. The events are celebrated with great fun. There are sports events conducted throughout the year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees structure is feasible. 152000 fee per anum is to be paid. I think it's feasible for middle-class students.

Campus Life

Yes, sports day is celebrated and many other events include sports like basketball, cricket, the football ground is present. Students interested in sports can participate actively.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, seniors are given guidance for study and extracurricular activities. So it will be hard to approach a senior.

Faculty

The college is the best college in the state. So the best faculty are appointed in all the departments. And the number of professors is good for the students and also the available faculty is skilled.

Internship experience and review

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The placements procedure has not yet started. 6 lakh is the highest package and 4.5 lakh is the average package. Mostly the profiles offered are marketing only. 10-15% of students are getting placements. My future plans after getting the degree are to get exposed to the corporate world.

Placement Experience:

Companies start visiting the campus for the recruitment process during the third semester as students are eligible from after the mid-semester of 3rd semester. Lots of companies for the campus recruitments. Some of them are ICICI Bank, KYB Comment, HDFC Ltd., TCS, etc. The highest package was Rs 10.2 lacs by Federal Bank. It is offered to 5 students of finance background. The average package is Rs 5.5 lacs. 83% of students get placed and others remaining would have opted not to go for the process because of their family business or their will to become entrepreneurs.

Review of IIMA

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best across India. It is only one of the 5 to get audited and officially published. There are two placement procedures that a student goes through. The summer internship is mandatory as per the course, which is supposed to happen between the two years. The placement of the same happens around Nov-Dec in 3 clusters, which is decided as per the batch. Then the Final Placement happens in Second Year, around Feb in a similar fashion. A detailed report of the number of companies and package is available on the website.

College with nice campus Life

Admission:

Admissions are granted on the basis of merit in the CMAT exam. My CMAT score was pretty decent, but still, I have to wait for the second round of counselings. After that, I appeared for the interview round and Group discussion, which was pretty easy for me as I was practicing for the interview round and giving mock interviews.
