Dislikes
- timings for who stay faraways stations . people statying faraways like panvel , virar might have a difficulty to travel.
- canteen management food is not that good but one can eat if hungry. taste is good and its delicious .
- too much events to particpate , as one has to particpate in events in all the upcoming events . it becomes difficult to manage time for studies.
Course Curriculum Overview
as i was always keen to learn about computers after clearing my 12th ( hsc examinition ) my decision for pursuing and completing my bachelors in computer applications . new courses are been launched so students are having up to date knowledge of the industry . more practical knowledge and teaching should be given based on real life problems. no difficulty level for me when it comes to examinition ,.
Fees and Financial Aid
the fee structre for first year bca degree is 40000 . yes there is various schlarship programm offered by college for girls like india bulls scholarship and freeships for needy students. the fee increases as the year completes. everything is included in the fees(including the lab fee,tution fee,id card amt,library membership). special facilities are given to sc/st students providing money benefit to them. yes merit cum based admission process happens
Campus Life
majorly event of dr bmn college is 'AKANSHA' event . the enitre college particpates to make it an sucessful event . all the depatments coming together for particiaption including teaching and non teaching stafffs . sports committe includes badmintion , chess , karathe etc .
Admission
my target was this college as overall in mumbai this college only has the best institue for computer application . especially for when it comes to girls education as its only an girls college . the admission process is based on cet exam level and merit based .
Faculty
the faculty in bca department is very good and well educated . the teacher student relatationship is very beautiful to see. doubts have been solved by teachers in most understable manner. i woud not like to specify the names of the best or not good faculties as each and every teacher is good , well educated , best in explaining and introducing new concepts to its students. per semester there are 2 exams ; 25 marks unit test and 50 marks term end paper . this weigtage of marks differ per major and minor subjects. students clear the exams .
