Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite good to influence our decision making it gives a clear cut of objectives and options for further decision making. Its moderately prepares us for the real world as we dont have any explosure to the practical world we only have therotical classes and most of the time we spend in listening to the lectures and making notes. Improvements can be done by providing practical as well as technical knowledge to the students as well as to the faculty by training programs
Internships Opportunities
There is only one internship provided in the final year of the college which is of 3 months and we have to prepare a journal of the guven topic and there will be an internal viva exam where the professors from different colleges gather to conduct the question and answer process.
Placement Experience
Only final year students are eligible for the placements and the companis offered by our college are infosis, tcs, accenture, piramal finance, 24.[AI] and many more companies. 99 % of the students gets placed in the company's.
Fees and Financial Aid
I have paid 22000 in the first year of B.com, 26000 in the second year of the B.com and 30000 in the third year of the B.com inculding all the categories. For general quota the fees is fixed at 30000 and for sports quota the fees varies year to year. SC/ST has scholarships every year of 10000 to 15000 and for who ever has scored more than 85% have a speacial scholarship from the government.
Campus Life
The campus is has annual academic functions and sports functions as well. There is a huge 3 story building as our library and we have a huge range of books from puc to masters and other novels and reading books.
Admission
I have applied to JGCC only and i have got a comfirmed admissions in that college itself. I did not get rejected by any college as i did not apply for any other college except JGCC. The admission process is easy as we have to put an application and there will be a interview with the admission committee and they ll select the student accordingly to their performance.
Faculty
Faculty is in a enough number to engage classes without any interruption. The faculty i have liked the most is our principle sir Mr. Patil sir who is a big encouragement for the students. He grants all the needs a student and a faculty wants. The faculty i dislike is our sports sir Mr. Patil sir he has a complex of comparison between student's and only sees his profit out of our result and diesnt support us for anything although i have made achievements in my sport.
