Faculty: faculty is very friendly and good. Ur never ignored if u ask the same question repeatedly
College often organise site visits and other activities which can help the student with their academic and also mental and physical health

Dislikes

Work load: the work load of architecture is hectic we have to do multi-tasking .
Sleep cycle is disturbed ...there are many sleep less nights

The course is good it not only has the basic technical things but also some activities and other things which help to build student in accordance to the course but also refresh the mind with co-curricular activities

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fee of open category is approximately 1.2 lakhs While for OBC it is 85k to 90k approximate After the GR of free education for girls it is less to 20-30k including the development fee library fee etc

Campus Life

Campus life is decent . With the curriculum the college also has socials and other activities. Basically socials are conducted in the end of the year .college also celebrate varous other festivals and it's good

Admission

The admission process is through cap rounds. You have to give NATA and JEE Paper 2 to be eligible for the course and should opt for science with maths as a compulsory subject in the 12th First preference is given to state Student

Faculty

Faculty is well educated and good. Some r our super seniors and have done their masters from other states or orther cities from best colleges while some had completed their architecture degree from foreign colleges

Perfect infrastructure but more experience faculty needed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason i choose architecture because it fascinates me how a place can be developed into holistic place interests me . The curriculum has some good inputs but it doesn't make you industry ready extra efforts should be taken to learn advance softwares extra classes newer research etc discussion on advance technology becomes important in modern age how architecture is changing is not discussed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of exam is twice a semester and good enough. Guest lectures are good and helpful for the future preparation.There must be a change in teaching styles of the faculty and more site based experiments through the course for better understanding than only in class studies , the beauty of historical buldings made me wonder about this course

Placement Experience:

For architecure departments, usually there are no placements, but since this Institute is autonomous, they have startes conducting placements drive. Last year 10/12 students were placed in good firms all over banglore, pune, kolhapur. I plan on applying to different firms all over Maharashtra and would also hope to get placement via college since the packages that are offered are good. Placement percentage is anywhere between 12-15%. The highest package offered was around 5,40,000, average package for a architecture student would be-around 3lakhs.

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement for architecture students. After completion of the degree, one can apply for jobs or opt for masters. Architects get an average starting salary of 20-25 thousand. The course is pretty expensive including college fees and printing prices. One can also open a private firm and earn enough money. There are very few open students getting placed. My plans after getting a degree are to apply for masters. For a teaching job, one must complete masters.
