- the classroom are big ang good size. the college since is govt aided needs renovation but there and there labs are getting renovated one by one.
- theres no attendance issue in this college especially for DIPSAR.
- the overall infrastructure is very good with air conditioners in all lecture theatres
Dislikes
- the canteen is not that good and neither there's hygiene
- there's need for improvement in the faculty and staff members
- the washrooms are in definite need of renovation
Course Curriculum Overview
the course is ofcourse a good choice for people with both Medical and non medical backgrounds as it's a mixture of both biology. chemistry and technicalities. one could find many career pathways after completing this course. a great choice of you don't want to pursue mbbs or btech. the only cons of this course is the syllabus relevancy. the syllabus should be updated as soon as possible as according to industries nowadays it's too backward
Fees and Financial Aid
the fees for odd semesters is ?54000 and for even it's ?26000. the fees increased just when my batch started and before that it was way less. there a few scholarships that are available in our college.
Campus Life
the infrastructure is great but it some parts need major improvement. the grounds of the college were taken in as construction site leaving no place for students to play any sports.the lecture theatres are great all equipped with projectors and ac. there's lift also available. the washrooms need attention as they are too old and dusty. labs are getting renovated one by one so that's a great point
Admission
the application process was very easy. you apply through the official website dpsru.edu.in and fill all the forms and details and paying the registration charges. the addmission is based on the merit list which is based on your class 12th marks. one with pcm or pcb or both can apply for this course. after the release of merit list they send out mails to pay the fees and confirm the seat else the seat gets passed on to the next student after the deadline. after this they ask you to come for document verification and orientation.
Faculty
dipsar and dpsru have many highly qualified teachers and faculty but there are few teachers that don't seem be to that good. whether it be their teaching or their behaviour but they seem to be a little over confident. As I said few teachers are so good on their respective field that one can easily find them as a great mentor for their career. they are very friendly and helpful and will make you feel very great
