Likes

College typically offers much more independence and freedom than high school.
College also provides opportunities for students to live away from home, either in dormitories or off-campus.
Connections with student, teacher, friendly environment also our ground group in college

Dislikes

Books in library are limited they don't provide other interested books and we cannot suggest books for library
Sometimes teachers behavior we are in college but they treat us like 10th students

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is not connected with my goals is just help me to get my graduation degree. Trips, visits are necessary for college students but there is no hope for any trip. Exams held sem wise and easy to pass.

Class Size: 110Course Fees: INR 7895 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships were only provided for Sc, Bc categories no Scholarship was available for general categories students. After clearing all these few dues one can pay the final exam fee for a semester. My tution fee is being paid by the government because of my rank.

Campus Life

Special activities are performed in my college, such as farewells and freshes only. Whether there are games like cricket, kabaddi etc or cultural like singing, dancing etc. our college is filled with these types of activities

Admission

There was no entrance exam when I got admission it's based on your 12th marksheet Visit the college and find the details There is no reservation system Teachers should help counseling students I get my admission in counseling.

Teachers are good they also approach students to talk about their studies and they suggest for future goods. Some teachers only care about exam marks but others try to encourage students to keep forward with their goals if you are interested in something then try to focus on those things.

JGU is delightful place!!

Placement Experience:

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent average package is in the range of 3-5 LPA . Several companies come in campus for placement opportunities including big names like CVENT, TCS , Wipro etc . The placement are not so great but they provide a decent starting packages to fresher.

Best college for Commerce student

I choose this college because this gives the best facility of commerce stream in Hisar. It located in the centre of Hisar so it is easy to transport. The environment of college is very pleasant. The teachers of this college is a very good attitude towards the students. The college has a big part in university sports and has good players of football and kabbadi also. The college has a library which contains a lot of books on it. The college has a good and powerful security system. Ragging is banned in college. The college has a good auditorium for many cultural activities and programs. The rooms of college are big and well airflow. The playground of college is very big for football, handball, kabaddi.
