- College Infrastructure: RGMCET has great Infrastructure and design.Each department has a seperate block and there is a garden in front of each block.There is a fountain in middle of the college which adds more beauty to its Infrastructure.
- Pedestrians to walk for the students as well as clean and neat Thar road which gives the students studying in a beaytiful college feeling
- Faculty and studies in RGMCET are just fabulous.It is a great place to gain lot knowledge from the well experienced faculty as well as a new Central Library is built to glow the minds of students of RGMCET
Dislikes
- Long working hours of the college,from 9am to 4:20pm.
- Canteen is a good place to sit and chit chat play games but not a place where some quality food is provided.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is good. I chose Electrical Engineer on my interest basis. It is also a good branch here in RGMCET and the curriculum is well suited for me and for my higher studies purpose. The syllabus and subjects are very perfect in such a way they cover the whole Electrical department and as well as they cover some trending courses also.
Placement Experience
For recruiting purpose companies like amazon, Capegemini, Zoho, Byjus, Skillwinner, Accenture, Wipro etc. comes to our college.They recruit the merit students who get passed in their software based test and exams and also interviews.A few students those who are not interested in placements get a chance to write GATE exam and go for the higher studies for getting better jobs. The training and placement cell really work very hard to get their students placed in companies they also provide us Training for placements from the second year onwards.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college fee is huge as they offer us such type of valuable content. The Tuition fee structure for all the years is 76100. Bus fees vary for different places. They also charge for Training and placements. Other fees are also charged such as the building fee which is a bit higher for the first years and then it is less as the standards increase.
Campus Life
Every year each department celebrates its own college event with the name Ripple for electrical students Pravaha, MBA students Kaizen, and for CSE students the event name is Cognizence. The faculty and event managers coordinate well to make these events a successful one. There are almost 10000+ books available in the Modern Library of RGMCET. Now in almost all the classes there are LED TVs provided with a motto of Revolutionizing Teaching with Senses edge Televisions. Every year sports is also conducted and branchwise competitions are held. All these extracurricular activities like sports and departmental events are held every year from the months of March to May.
Admission
The admission process should be done in the college itself. If the students get a good rank in exams like AP EAPCET and AP ECET (for lateral entry students) then it's easy to get into the college. I got a 208 rank in the AP ECET exam. We can find the application form and application fees and related important dates on the official college website. A few students will join directly in spot admissions by paying the full fee to the college other students who wrote entrance exams will get a free seat if they have a good rank.
Faculty
The faculty are excellent in RGMCET. They are almost available when the students are in need. Many Professors completed their PHD programs at recognized Universities. Many of them interact well with students. They come to know our problems and solve them. They help us us gain more knowledge and also encourage us for higher studies.
