- The cultural fests which are conducted by IPS are very good but seperate culture fests are okay okay.
Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to make my career in International Trade, so i chose BBA Foreign Trade. This course is very good for students who want to pursue International Trade in future and those who are interested in shipping industry. This courses helps you to understand International Business basics very well. After that you can go for MBA in International Business which will further broaden your knowledge of international trade. This course helps students get a better understanding about how a country do International Trade. What are the do's and don'ts in International Business and how to do successful business across broders. After BBA you can opt for MBA in International Business. There are no such improvements required in this course, its just perfect and have everything you need to learn at basic level. In my college exams are conducted once a year and according to me yearly exam pattern is better than semester system. The difficulty level of exams is moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There are many internship opportunities for you to join. These are provided from the college itself. For example - Accenture, Deloitte, TCS and even Google (Google internships were open campus) The stipend ranges from Rs. 3000 to 10000 per month
Placement Experience
Final year students are eligible for campus placements. The students need to score as much as possible in order to get a better job. There are many companies that visit for campus placements. Some are Asian Paints, L&T, TCS, etc. The highest package was 12LPA and the average was 6LPA. Almost 70% students get placed. My plan is to do MBA before getting a job.
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete fees of BBA Foreign Trade 3yrs is almost 3L rupees. You can also pay the fees in installments every 6 months. Yes there are scholarships provided to EWS, SC, ST and other students who require them. There are many internship opportunities provided by the college also you can get an internship from your own. After 1st year you can do internship. The basic requirements of internship are there should be no backlogs in any year.
Campus Life
There are many fests conducted in the campus every year. In IBMR the annual fest Blossoms and Flames, is a 3 day fest which takes place during the month of April and May. In this fest there are many events such as dancing, singing, drama, kushti (wrestling), painting, and many more and at last there is a DJ night. Also there are many technical workshops that place in the campus. Almost all the necessary books and journals regarding your course are easily available in the college library and also there are many fiction and non fiction books. The faculties are very knowledgeable and experienced also very friendly. You can always reach out to them anytime you are having any inconvenience. All the classes have smart boards in them. There are many sports opportunities available in the campus like cricket, football, basketball, horse riding, swimming, etc. You can join any of them. For extra curriculars there are singing, dance, drama, art, etc. There are many clubs in the college.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is only 12th pass out. There is no such entrace test you can directly take admission. The application forms are available in the office in college itself. There is no fees for application you only have to pay the admission fees which is approx 25000/- The forms are available from March to June. There are scholarships available for category students and also for EWS students. Exams are conducted once a year and according to me yearly exam pattern is better than semester system coz you get time for extra curriculars too. The difficulty level is moderate. If you have attended the classes and you have knowledge about your course than you can clear the exams easily. There is no such area of improvement.
Faculty
Nearly all the faculty members are PHDs and they are very knowledgeable in their respective subjects. Also the faculties are very experienced and they can help you score good in university exams. The teachers are also very friendly you can reach out to them any time in case of any problem or inconvenience. The faculty to student ratio is 1:60 and that is fair enough. The faculties handle the students soo well and all your problems are solved within the class itself. There are many teachers who have very different teaching styles. For ex.- Gunja Thakur Ma'am : She is just soo charming and all of her lectures are engaging and fun. The way she teaches is just soo good. Kali Charan Modak Sir : He is just very knowledgeable and experienced. He has also written some business papers and books. His nature is also very friendly. Mathematics HOD C.K. Goyal Sir : At first glace he seems kind of rude and strict but when you start studying you'll find that he is one of the best math teacher.
