Remarks

I am not saying anything good or bad about my collage but specially for north indian peoples this collage is not good so those people go near like calcutta, Delhi.

Entrance Preview

I gave many competitive exam IITjee, AIEEE, but I did not score good but I got rank in TANCET that Iam able to take admission finaly in Annamalai university

Internships Opportunities

I am not able to join any internship or training programe because there is no any facilty provided from the side of collage they only provide letter to where the student want to go, i tried but no company called me.

Placement Experience

When i m in collage placement is dull for mechanical only. Some of the companies came but the requirement of companies is the candidate now the tamil language.and some companies like HCL and non-tech companies are there.

College Events

cultural programme- dancing , singingpoetry competition,Drama competition. Some of the regional cultural activity like dance were more promoted in my collage that was cool.

collage yearly course fee-Rs65380.Hostel fee Yearly- Rs50000.Miscellaneous Fee-Rs5000 one time only. Yearly association fee-Rs250.and other some personel expenses.

No any scholarship was availed by me but I take a loan from my regional bank named central bank of india

As in my collage labs was too much famous lab instrument which are not present in iit that are in my collage like Boiler etc. and extracurricular activity like NCC, Blood donating camp, and Drama society

In my hostel there is very good facility were provided to the student,like gym, playing ground, outdoor gaming ground,hostel food were not so good there is more or less south indian food were there.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure

In a year there were too much paper, after every month 2 there is mid semester paper .Every weak a test were taken,and a semester paper were taken question were quit tough in my semester.

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I choosed annamalai university becase this college is well known and a old college ( university ) and goood recognition . the admission was simple you can join through tnea website if you just have good marks and cut off marks in class 12. the fees was not so high , just affordable fees so even middle class people can also join in this collage / university .there was so many courses offered here and also in third you can study other department course if yo want to study. its your choice. the campus was so big and have many toursis spots arond the college . good environment for leaning . overall the college is so good....Read More
