Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum includes a vast and detailed study of the subjects chosen. There will be internal exams and university exams. All the exams are conducted regularly. The notes are provided by the teachers. But still the students are encouraged to dedicate themselves with the subject by referring to library books.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are mainly focused for b. Com and BSc students. Still the BA students can edo their internships as content writers, communicative trainers language translators etc. Content writing provides a great opportunity.
Placement Experience
The students can get campus placement from the third year. For English language and literature, the students can apply for content writers or communicative English trainers. Various companies provide a salary package of 15k for content writers. Also they can be enrolled as communicatove English trainers.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is 5k. It depends on the subjects you have chosen. Still, an average fee of 2500 will be there for each semester. The students can use their E-grant system in order to avoid the payment of fees. All reservations declared by the government are there in this college.
Campus Life
All events are observed and celebrated in this college. Environment day, Independence day, teachers day, Holy, Onam, Christmas etc are celebrated grandly. Each department holds many programmes. For example The English department conducts Book day, seminars, workshops etc.
Admission
The admission is carried out by single window system. All students need to register to Kerala university portal to continue admission However the spot admission is there for those who do not get the admission in the first and second allotment. No paid seats are there. The admission is completely through single window system. 80% above in plus2 is needed to get admission.
Faculty
Well trained and well qualified faculties are there. They provide support to students not only in academic area but also in non academic activities. HOD and other teachers are there for each department. UG teachers provide full support to the students at the time of project and viva.
