Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

This curriculum empasis on practical skills and industry specific knowledge that really sparked my interest towards this course . As I am biology student there are few options in this stream that pay you good amount after you graduate, pursuing this course is the best option in my opinion. The curriculum strongly focus on Project based learning Collaborative group work Lectures from industry guests Improvements Add emerging courses like pharmaceutical nanotechnology, pharmacogenomics and personlized medicine. Integrate case studies and real world examples for better understanding into the curriculum. Exams are spaced out appropriately allowing manageable study periods in between . Exams are bit difficult, it mainly assess our understanding towards course effectively.

Internships Opportunities

3

As I am in 2 year I don't know how internship program works in my experience. But I heard from seniors that in your 3 year they will take you on industry visit that on how drug is manufacture and how things work in industry. As for internship, in your 4th year they will take you to any drug research company which is not far from college. And you can work as a intern there but only those students can work who have submitted their projects (that on which drug they are researching etc). I haven't done any projects myself so I can't really tell

Placement Experience

3

After 7 or 8 semester students are eligible for campus placements The companies visited are listed below Cadella , emcure , sun pharmaceutical etc There are approx 40 number of offers are made till now . There are approx 45% students placed every year. I will do M pharm after my bachelor's degree by qualifying GPAT exam and make my career in research field.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has history of increasing tuition fees in every 3-4 years . With an average hike of 5 % . While this is concerning , it's essential to consider the rising costs of education and infrastructure. Complete cost of education Tution fees - ?30,000 per semester Service fees- ?4000 per semester Other compulsory charges ( include lab and equipment fees) - ?6000 per semester There are no such scholarships provided in this university. Campus employment Research assistant - ?47750 per month Tutoring - ?36654 per month Library assistant - ?27320 per month

Campus Life

3.5

An annually pharma fest is held in the last month of January usually . And freshers party for new batch in 1 st week of September mostly In library we have access to almost all the books except some books which have only one copy in whole library. They issue books to all the students for 14 days and after that you have to return it . Extra fine if you cause delay . The facilities provided in the classroom is ok ok. It has normal school like table and chair and simple green board. But there are so many charts and models provided in labs that made easy understanding in students. In extracurricular activities , this college is best and it has everything like shooting range, basketball, badminton, volleyball, kabaddi, kho kho etc . The tournaments held on annually basis for all the students. They have quite nice court for badminton and field for cricket. Overall they have vast opportunities for any sports player. There are not any clubs or groups provided by university.

Admission

Eligibility of this course is The student must be from science stream (PCM or PCB) with minimum percentage of 55% in 12 th boards . All the application form or process is done in college campus only. Application form fees is ?500 . And you can check the application form dates from their official website. As it is private university, there are no reservation benefits for any category. The exams are well spaced and you have enough time to cover your syllabus. No such improvements need regarding admission

Faculty

4.5

The faculty is really welcoming, approachable and genuinely interested in individual student success. This close interaction helped me grow academically and professionally. There are many senior faculty who have more than 20 years of teaching experience. And their teaching methods are exceptional especially in organic chemistry. We can regular interact with our tecahers for any career guidance or course related doubts in college timing hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams and their questions, I would rate the 8.5 out of 10 in term of difficulties because of twisted questions. In class their is always class test , assignments , and presentation which personaly I consider good to boost the confidence and presentation level. Teachers use both board and projector for teaching, it mostly depends on students how they want to learn. Companies like appollo come to tell us about them and how we can do better which is a good thing.
