Likes

I really liked the teachers and their way of teaching.
The field trips that we went to by our college were very informative.
I thoroughly gained insightful knowledge while doing projects for genetics and microbiology.

Dislikes

I did not like that there were no clean washrooms for us.
There is no campus or playground. Also the canteen is not satisfactory.
This college does not provide placements to their students and the management is rude.

Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to pursue genetics in my bachelors because it has always gained my interest. I really wanted to study the background of the human body and how the traits are transmitted to the further generations.

Class Size: 20000Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The tuition fee is quite affordable for the people who have good financial background but for the students who have financial problems might find it difficult to pay the fees at the specified time and thats why they couldn't continue their studies. The government provides scholarships for the students who want to avail tho. Personally, i have went to Maulana Azad National Urdu University to do my project and make a thesis on RPL.

Campus Life

In shadan degree college for women, we have celebrated fresher's party as well as farewell party. we have organised food fests, model making competition in which, i have won the 1st prize along with my group mayes. the social life is very good if you find people of your mindset. there are no doubt many different people here but it depends on us whom we want to be friends with and with whom we shouldn't.

Admission

The eligibility of my course, bsc genetics was to have intermediate or 10+2 done in science. i have scored 91.3% in my intermediate in BiPC in telangana. The application form for getting into this college will be found in the shadan degree college for women in khairtabad, which is the main office. All the talks of admission can be done face to face with the person sitting in the office.

Faculty

In Shadan Degree College, all the lecturers are thoroughly qualified. They have their masters in their concerned subject and some also have their Bachelors in Education which makes them qualified. The teacher-student ratio is as good as it can be and it helps the students to gain insightful knowledge without any fear. The faculty other than teachers, like the aayas are also kind in nature. They help us with our academic related needs nicely. We could interact with the teachers whenever we needed and required help and they would be very present to respond to our needs immediately.

5th-semester students are eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Tata consultancy, etc. Around 50 students from the campus got selected for Infosys and Wipro last year. The start-up package is from 1-2lac per month. 80% of the students can get campus placement jobs I have a plan of doing the job(In case I select for placement). Or else I would pursue my Masters.

Eligibility of the courses is 10+2 Application form is to be purchased from the college itself , it costs you around 600 Application dates varies approximately till July No reservations available No difficulty in exams as they already provide the question paper and exams are conducted twice each semester There should be more and precise knowledge about the fees description available and also the students should not be standing in the lines for the admission atleast they can arrange plastic chairs...Read More
