Course Curriculum Overview
Our college is accredited A grade NAAC, also accredited by NBA, and it is associated with Osmania University. It has also conferred autonomous status by UGC. The Autonomous status is very useful as with it the college is able to change the curriculum as per the needs of the job market/real-world applications. The teaching method of the college is very good. Every class has a computer and a projector which the faculty uses to make interactive and engaging lessons.
Internships Opportunities
We get internships from the 5th and 6th semesters (3rd year) and many different companies visit our college for internships. The internships can last from 6 months to 1 year. Which I have heard from seniors.
Placement Experience
Our college placement is very good the highest paka is 7.50LPA and 2nd highest is 7LPA. The average package is about 3.5LPA. But if you are a good and highly skilled person you can easily get more than a 6LPA package. There are more than 47+ Companies that visit to hire students. The college also provides various different internship opportunities from the 5th and 6th semesters (3rd year). Which is extremely beneficial in getting job experience.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is very affordable, but if you can't afford it you can apply for scholarships which we can apply from central scholarship. There are many other scholarship programs offered on websites whether we are a minority or a general person.
Campus Life
There is a wide variety of events happening in college ranging from food festivals to coding hackathons to simple guest lectures. If you search #lords on Instagram, you can find a lot of videos/pictures of events that were conducted in lords. Lords College has around 12 acres of land space. Equipped with cutting-edge labs and libraries and over 60 different types of labs. Lords also has a variety of clubs like the GDSC (which I am a member of), MSC-Microsoft students club, code wave hub, IEE, Lords Ecell, and more. Beyond grades and academics, lords also has a sports room which has a small gym and all the different sports equipment that a student needs.
Admission
The admission process was very easy. We had to submit all of our original documents. Like 10th, and 12th report cards, 10th, and 12th memos,1-8th memos, and more,4 Xerox copies of all the above documents along with 8 passport-size photos. I recommend anyone being admitted to college to have at least 20 passport-size pictures because they will be needed for everything from ID cards to library cards. The application form can be found in the admissions office and if we need help we can ask the staff at the admissions office for help. They will help us with everything and they know a lot of languages so the language barrier will not be an issue.
Faculty
The student-to-faculty ratio is 1:60 . The faculty of Lords have a lot of experience from 5-25 years. They have a variety of degrees from Btech to PhD in computer science and more. The faculty of the college is very friendly. They will help us find ourselves and guide us to develop REAL PRACTICAL SKILLS in all fields from academics to sports. In case we have any problem in the college that the professors can't help us with, we can approach our First Dean and he will solve our issue whether it be with college facilities or with students/teachers. He is also very qualified and approachable.
