Sweet and salt experience

At the end of course you got full packed knowledge on subject ,but i didn't give Assurance on Placements.

After completion of my B.Tech i want to do my M.tech in any government institute. So for that purpose I written APPGECET exam. In that I got 289 rank. Basically I am interesting design so I want to choose CAD/CAM stream. I checked various government institutes luckily I found out this college. After enquiry through my seniors and my lecturers i heard it was a good Institute and good environment to study so that's why I choose this college.

To verify course curriculum I visit college official portal that is www.jntuacep.ac.in in that I go to downloads, in downloads I select exam portal in the exam portal courses academic regulations, syllabus, academic calendar and all information regarding course curriculum available. In course 2 semesters for first year. In 1st sem FEM, computational methods subjects are available which is useful to understand ANSYS, HYPERMESH softwares. In electives CFD, quality engineering manufacturing this type of subjects available. In 2nd sem robotics, advanced Optimization techniques, mechatronics, rapid prototyping subjects available which is useful for research. 2nd year totally for project work.

The college doesn't give any internship directly but they give permission to go for Internship if College doesn't give any internship directly but they give permission to send students to internship if students have interest. The senior faculties is having lot of circle in industrial areas so by using that circle the students get chance to get internship.

every year nearly 15 to 20 companies are came to college to pickup students for their firm. In that TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Vedha iit, Accenture, BEL companies are major one. All these companies are picked B.Tech students maximum. only TCS, Vedha IIT, some other 2 startup companies are consider PG students.

Every year each department conduct one national level technical symposium and one workshop on latest technology. In Mechanical department we conduct YANTRA2K17 technical symposium and ROBOGYAN workshop. Coming to cultural program on the night of technical symposium we have a cultural program which is done up to 1'O clock AM. In our college total 5 departments are there so we get 6 cultural programs including College Anniversary.

Basically the PG course is costlier as compared to other Govt. institute because the courses are Self Finance course thats why it having more fee (per sem 25000/- as tuition fee,5000 as building fee per year). But luckily i got govt seat so i pay only building fee and Hostel fee. The remainong fee Govt pays.

if you opt out government Scholarship a facility is available to get monthly Scholarship as 12400/- per PG students through TEQIP-II Program.( For this program only Above avg Students Are Eligible)

apart from Academics the campus life was Super with lot of memories. we have big big grounds to paly cricket, football, Hockey, hand ball separately. Coming to gender ratio i don't know exactly but nearly 60:40 (B:G). The Equipment in the labs are good with Advancements. For Campus training debates and group discussion are conducted once in month.

Coming to Hostel facilities i bet to all other JNTU's in AP we have a good Hostel Facility with good food.Because it a student managed hostel the menu is prepared by students only.The monthly mess bills are also very less as compared to private hostel (maximum Rs.2200/- only per month). In hostel we have free WiFi facility along with LAN for Each room with 3 sharing. If you want stay outside the college it is very difficult because no PG's available, if you want to stay in a room you need go for Pulivendula Which is 3KM apart from college.

The Alumnis of our college are settled in Various Govt sectors like AP AEE, AE, SSE, BSNL JTOs in POWER GRID, AP GENCO, APTRANSCO. They are very helpful to give suggestions to crack the exams and also they sends materials also.

In every SEM we have two mid exams only one exam for one day. the level of question paper was not difficult at the same time not easy so proper preparation we need and the correction is very tough in internal but in the Main exam some what liberal. As already told in Second year we have a project word for every 2 month we have One internal review based up on our performance they give marks.

To join in this institute I written APPGECET exam. In that I got 289 rank. By using this I attended in a counseling which is conducted by Andhra Pradesh state Council of Higher Education. At the time of counselling I verified my certificates in the help desk after that they giving a separate user id and password. By using this user credentials I choose this college as a first option in web counselling. After couple of days the counselling results was announced and I got this Institute with conformation letter i.e, allotment order. Then I went to this college and submitted my certificates along with allotment order to confirm my seat. Like PGECET, GATE rank holders are also eligible. For non Rankers only one seat available which is Spot Admission but it requires Recommendation and the cost of seat is double as compared to rankers.

To find out the faculty I used same process like curriculum. The mechanical department consists nearly 20 faculties are available in that the head of the department Venugopal Reddy sir having 25 years of experience in the teaching area as well as research area. 4 faculties having 10 years of experience,more than 10 faculties having greater than 6 years of experience and all faculty having number of Publications in research area.
