Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The MBBS curriculum is relevant and comprehensive. Key aspects were its clinical exposure and strong theoretical foundation. It prepares well for real-world practice and further studies. Improvement areas include more hands-on training and updated teaching methods. Exams are well-timed and moderately difficult.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships are offered in the final year at Civil Hospital Bharuch. Roles include medical rotations across departments. Projects focus on clinical research and patient care improvement. Stipends vary.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for MBBS is high for middle-class families, with around ?6,85,000 per year for government quota and ?15,00,000 per year for management quota, over 4.5 years. Scholarships available include MYSY, CMSS, and Kanya Kelavani for girls. Campus employment opportunities offer various roles with stipends that help manage expenses.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life is vibrant with Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Garba/DJ nights, the annual cultural event GLITZ, and sports event SANGRAM. The AC library is well-stocked with materials and computers. Classrooms are air-conditioned with projectors. Numerous sports and extracurricular activities enrich student life.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The college hostel is under construction. Currently, different places are arranged for different batches. Hostel fees are ?100,000 per year, including all facilities. Meal quality is below average as chefs are from Assam, but the menu is decided by students monthly. Rooms are equipped with basic amenities, but improvements are needed.

Admission

The MBBS admission process is merit-based on the NEET exam, conducted by ACPUGMEC in Gujarat. Reservations are available for EBC, OBC, SC, ST, and PWD. Application details are on the ACPUGMEC site. The difficulty level rises yearly. Improvements include smoother document verification and clearer timelines.
