What Students Say
Likes
- The campus is good. It's very green and beutiful, lots for spot for spending time in nature. The location is also very well.
- The infrastructure is amazing, all labs are well maintained.
- The faculty is very experienced and research oriented. Faculty connects very well with students.
Dislikes
- Placement can be improved, the average package after master is not so impressive.
- The fees is very high, looking at ROI (return on investment) it's not so great.
- Undergraduate students are not much preferred for research work.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum and syllabus of the courses are designed by the University of Pune. The the curriculum for the pharmaceutical sciences is very much industry oriented and research oriented. But still there is scope of improvement for the real World applications since the recent improvements in the industry are not covered. The connection between the industry and the syllabus is not so much impressive.
Internships Opportunities
The internships are not as such provided by the college. Students have to find themselves internships but faculties do help students for the referrals for the internship. So I would say overall internship experiences above average
Placement Experience
The placements for the masters are not so much. Impressive. Since there are few of the companies visiting the campus every year as compared to the number of students eligible for the campus placements, companies do visit the campus but the placement offers made by them are very low as compared to what they have spent on the college fees. Also, same goes for the bachelor students.
Fees and Financial Aid
The oral fees of one year is 1,57,000. This is exclusive of University fees for every semester which is about 2000. Do hostile fees is about 150000 for triple sharing. I think fees is very high as compared to the return on investment for the masters and bachelor's degree. If the family income of student lies above 800000, then there are no scholarships available on campus. But the income of the family of student lies below 800000 then there are various scholarship provided by the government of Maharashtra which splits the fees according to the category of the students.
Campus Life
Overall experience with my college is amazing. Since there are a lot of campus activities going on everyday, there are lots of clubs and lots of Student activities going on campus. There are lots of student-run groups which are focusing on social well-being.
Admission
In this college, two types of admission processes can be observed. The first is by the entrance test conducted by the government of Maharashtra and another is on-campus management student where students have to pay a donation fees and then they can get enrolled for the course. In terms of entrance test, cut off of the college is very high if you are not from the University of Pune and if you are from the University comparatively easier.
Faculty
The faculty to students ratio is very high but still students can approach faculty very easily. Faculty are very experienced and research oriented. Faculty tries their best to cover the entire syllabus of semester before the end Semester exams which is very impressive. Oral experience with faculty I would say is very great. Faculties are very warm and approaching. Most of the female faculties are very much helpful and kind.
