Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum appealed to me because it includes practical case studies and moot court sessions, which make legal theory more tangible. These aspects are crucial as they prepare us to apply what we learn in real legal scenarios. I feel adequately prepared for real-world legal practice due to the practical nature of the curriculum. It also lays a solid foundation for those considering advanced studies in specialized legal While the curriculum is solid, more emphasis on current legal issues and interdisciplinary perspectives could provide a more holistic understanding. Interactive classes and more practical exercises would enhance learning and engagement.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of the law degree program is relatively affordable compared to other institutions. As a merit student, I benefit from a reduction of 20,000 compared to management students. This makes the program financially feasible, especially considering it's a professional law degree.
Campus Life
Pre-COVID, campus festivals were vibrant and well-organized , thanks to a strong student union. However, post-COVID, the management's restrictions on union activities have led to less engaging festivals in recent years.Extra curricular activities and clubs are primarily student- driven due to an inactive union. This limits the richness and diversity of offerings available. The moot court club, for instance, has been inactive, although the final year did offer valuable moot court assistance. The library facilities are adequate but could be improved compared to other colleges. Given the fees paid, there's a perception that the infrastructure provided should be better.
Admission
As a merit student, I gained admission through an entrance examination for the integrated law degree program, which requires a qualification of +2. The application process was straightforward, conducted online through the university's website. The entrance exam itself was manageable; it wasn't overly challenging. Overall, the admission process was convenient and easy to navigate.
Faculty
The faculty members possess the necessary qualifications, yet they lack significant practical experience. However, they compensate for this by striving diligently to effectively deliver the syllabus within the constraints of limited time.
