- Poor teachers/lecturers and faculty, the people employed are employed because of nepotism rather than qualification.
- Tests and exams aren't proctored properly. Cheating is allowed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The fact that the curriculum included subjects like art of writing and political science and sociology made it attractive for me. It made me aware of the real world in terms, i had to stay informed with the current affairs of country and its political activities. It made me a better communicator on interpersonal and intrapersonal levels. The teaching method of the teachers didnt expose us or help us at all. My peers and seniors mostly helped me with great many things. The classes were regular at the start of the year but soon the lecturers began to quit and classes became irregular. The exams are the worst for someone who studies and witnesses delinquents cheat their way. Complaints made to the HOD was literally laughed at by the head of the department.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees of this particular non funded department is 35000 per year. Its a subject to increase but can also be waived due social unrest (droughts, pandemics). The complete cost as aforementioned is 35k. There were no scholarships for this non funded course. There are no placements given by the Department, however it's mentioned in their brochure that they do give placements to their students
Campus Life :
The name day of University, independence day, birthday of Dr. Ambedkar are the only events that plave in this university. The books are accessible easily and can be found online or in the local bookstores. The facilities are sub-par not even the desks are in appropriate conditions. They dont use the good things of the department and only use it to flex on potential admissions and newspaper reviews or committee inspections. There are sports and extracurricular activity provided by the campus irrespective of the department. Students dont indulge in intraction of such kind here. As the department doesnt promote clubs.
Admission :
Eligibility of the course is 12th graduates in any subject. Application form can be bought for 10 from the main office of the campus. There are no reservations in this course. As it is not govt funded. The exams aren't difficult if you are comfortable and interested in reading. The admission process is perfectly fine and simple.
Faculty :
The faculty to student ratio is very very poor. They hardly can make a correct sentence grammatically. And are barely academically accomplished individuals. The faculty however is approachable and kind natured however that is not the point if they cant teach students their own syllabus.
