GCSC campus review

Our BCA in Geetanjali college of science and commerce is affiliated with MLS University, therefore our course / curriculum / syllabus is provided by them. It's quite old and should be updated according to current technology and requirements of the industry.

According to me, quality placements should be increased for BCA. There enough number of companies that come to college to provide opportunities. But maximum of them are from marketing fields / customer service center fields. This does not provide much exposure for BCA students.

Fee structure is also according to MLS University which is 30,000 per year. An extra fee of Rs 500 or 600 is charged by college for freshers party in the 1at year and for farewell party in the last year. College takes the government scholarships for which we can apply on government websites. College also provides enough job opportunities for BCA programme.

Campus is good, they have provided cricket/ football ground. They have provided green campus. B.tech Library is large and very soothing and we can sit there to study, but for BCA, when we need to issue books we go to different library which is very small. We can socially interact with other people on the campus.

Admission process is very easy. You can either visit campus and fill the admission form physically or you can visit their website and fill that virtually. There is no such cut-off and no entrance exam is required for BCA programme. They take original marksheets of 10th and 12th class for 6 months for their security which I didn't liked.

Number of Faculties are balanced to the number of students. But the quality of Faculties for BCA should be improved. By mentioning quality, I mean their learning, knowledge, and sense of teaching, is not that good and up to date.
