Overview of regional Dental College

A Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program typically spans five years and encompasses a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for dental practice..from first year to 4th year we can easily learn about general knowledge of medical and fully about dental sciences.

State government itself provide internship in the college hospital for all the students who passed final year examination with stipend of 32000 rupees per month. One year is allowed to do internship to gain experience and practice.

As it is a government college, the fees is comparatively very low. There are so many scholarship programs to help the students who can't effort financially to purchase instruments and also college and hostel fees. After 4th year final exam we get stipend for internship and we can also get a chance to do resident doctors of the college. Sensodyne scholarship provide approx 1 lakh rupees per year to the students as a scholarship scheme to selected students to complete their course without any financial problems . And this scholarship is continued till final year ...other scholarships are Colgate scholarship, Ida scholarship etc.. Complete course fee is approx 5lakh rupees including college fees exam fees and instruments. From 3rd year onward we can treat patients which give us confidence and experience in our dental practices..this is one of the best college of whole north east India to do BDS degree and to become a great dentist in future.. stipend for internship is approx 32000

Name of the annual festival is ABLAZE conducted by the students union of the college.. there is a huge library with lots of books and journals for the students. Classroom are morden which installed projector in every classroom. For sports there is field alongside the college building.

Separate hostels for boys and girls with 100+ capacity in each hostel.it provide fan light bed table etc.. Meal is good with veg and non veg options. Registration for hostel is done during admission time only .

Neet is the one and only option to get admission in this college. Nta conducted neet every year and through this every year 50 students can get admission in this college according to mark. State has 85% reservation and from this also there is reservation for every caste .

Faculty student ratio is approx 1:5. From 3rd year onward during clinical posting every 5 - 6 students are allowed to take guidance from 1 teacher. All the faculty are well experienced and professional,they help in every aspect. We can easily intersect with the faculty for help and mentorship.
